[ I ] - it starts now!

THIRD PERSON

yui had been found by a nice and caring church, along with her two friends asta and yuno.

she is currently eight years old now, and is interested in talking animals.

not that she has seen one before, but,

a child has an imagination!

right, of course, she loves her tea and cake.

"yunooo!" yui said, running to yuno with her arms wide open.

yuno smiled gently and hugged yui warmly, engulfing the cute girl in a hug.

"how's your day, yui?" yuno said with a smile.

"splendid." she said with a smile on her face, clearly amused.

yuno didn't really process what that word meant so he just agreed with her.

asta suddenly appeared from the shadows, and said,

"hey, do you think sister lily will accept my love for her and marry me?"

"no." yuno said coldly, responding without hesitation.

"how fun, asta! you have such a great dream!" yui said, oblivious that she was hurting asta's pride, because he was dead serious when he asked that.

yuno laughed a little, and yui gave him a confused expression, and continued to drink her tea.

there was leftovers of yui's tea, and she spilled some of them on the ground.

"well, i'll let the ground enjoy tea too." she said with a smile, satisfied.

yuno & asta didn't even question it anymore, and continued to argue about something.

after yui had finished letting the ground taste her tea, she walked around the church looking for sister lily.

"sister lily!" she said, smiling.

"yui!" sister lily beamed, as she picked up yui in her arms, cuddling her.

"sister gives the best hugs." yui said, smiling cheerfully.

"sister, can i go explore?" she said after a few minutes of cuddling with sister lily.

"sure, make sure you don't go too far, alright?" sister lily said, booping yui's nose before letting her go.

yui giggled, and she began running to a nearby forest.

"hello, hello!" she said, amusement in her eyes, as she looked at the different creatures.

"now.. which one of you talks?" she said, going up to the different animals, petting them and trying to start a conversation with them.

this was just one of yui's hobbies.

"none of the ground animals can talk to me." yui thought, sitting down on the floor, pouting.

"do you want tea then? is that why your not talking to me?" yui said, dejected.

suddenly, a beautiful, small, cute bird flew over to yui's shoulder.

the bird started chirping at yui, almost like it was speaking.

yui grinned, clearly happy.

even if the bird didn't speak the same language as her, she was escatic that she made a friend.

she let the bird fly into her hands, gently holding it.

she started running back to the church, a huge smile on her face.

"sister, asta, yuno!" she yelled out, still running.

sister lily, asta, and yuno turned their heads to yui.

"look, i made a new friend!" she said, out of breathe, her hair a mess but she was adorable.

she let the bird fly on top of her head.

"i'm keeping her!" she said, not accepting rejection at this point.

"how cute! alright, we'll allow you to keep the bird." sister lily said, smiling.

you beamed at her, and went to find food for your newly found friend.

"yui, what are you gonna name the bird?" asta said, as he was following you.

"well, feya?" you said as you pet feya's head gently.

TIME SKIP TO WHEN YUI, ASTA, AND YUNO ARE 15 YEARS OLD.

"uwahh, we're about to get our grimoires! we're so excited! aren't we, feya?" yui said, smiling cheerfully as she danced a bit.

"of course i am! i'm gonna become stronger and stronger." asta yelled out, annoying the people near him.

yuno, being yuno, nodded.

"yui, i have a gift for you." sister lily said, with a gentle smile on her face.

sister lily gave yui a top hat with lots of different colors and stripes on it.

"i'm sorry, i know it's weird, but i thought you would like it!" sister lily said, clearly embarrassed.

"funky, i like it!" you said, putting on the top hat. it really suited you.

"oohh! your hat looks nice on you!" asta said, pointing at your new hat.

yuno agreed, nodding vigorously.
