Third Person's POV

"Thank you for helping Alex." Daniel said facing Livid, when they were the only ones left in the room. The officers had already taken away the criminals involved. Ryan had accompanied Alex and Sel towards their car so that they could rest since it was quite an overwhelming day.

Daniel was proved wrong about Livid. And he was happy it turned out this way.

"I heard she reminded you of someone." Daniel asked Livid recalling what he had heard via the ear piece that Ryan had given him.

"She was bugged it seems." Said Livid raising his brow. He got a nod as an answer.

"My wife." Livid said smiling.  A very genuine one at that. It showed how much this fearful man loved his wife. Enough to for him to turn so gentle just by thinking about her.

"Woman like her are precious. Don't let her go."

"I won't." Replied Daniel, smiling at her thought.

A year went by since the great past took place. A year that had made the two lovers fight, cause trouble, laugh and cry but also brought them close. Close enough to categorize them to be inseparable.

Right now when the dusk approached they were seen strolling around the park. Hand in hand, just like every other normal couple. Just then Alex suddenly stopped.

"What are you doing?" Asked Daniel quizzically. That very moment Alex went down on her knee. She pulled out a ring from her pocket and raised it towards Daniel.

"What are you doing?" Daniel muttered just audible enough looking at her, not knowing what to do. A small crowd of audience forming around them.

"Will you marry me?" Asked Alex smiling. Daniel had a complete freaked out expression on his face. Holy lord! Exclaimed his heart. He was getting proposed by the woman he dearly loved but couldn't find words coming out of his mouth as he opened and closed like a breathing fish. But once his some unknown side of the brain permitted the flow of words, they surely weren't the ones he wanted to utter.

"Aren't guys supposed to do these things." Asked Daniel. That made Alex frown. Oh, did he regret it. I am a goner.

"Welcome to 21st century dimwit. And why exactly does it matter? We will end up marrying each other anyways." She said.

"But I haven't given an answer yet." Replied Daniel. Listening to his response Alex forcefully put the ring on to his ring finger that made him grunt in pain. Then looking up at him, she gave him her most sickly sweet smile.

"Well now you did."

----------------------------

Two days later the engagement ceremony was held. Everyone seemed to be buzzing with joy and excitement. Especially the couple's parents. After all the childhood friends were turning into in-laws, a perfect scenario to have them thrilled.

The center of attention was the couple that got engaged just a while ago. They remained on the beautifully made stage greeting the guests and clicking memories.

In the crowd full of top notch people, celebrities and many others, there was one very familiar looking face that stood out.

Daniel tensed hunting all possible logical reasons that his brain could come up with to answer the upcoming obvious question that seemed to be approaching quite quickly towards him.

"It took you a while. I had to wait for a year and half to get an invitation of your enagement Mr. Daniel. For a moment I thought you both fooled me." Said Mr. MacMan as he went on the stage to congratulate the couple. Alex and Daniel shared a look. Only if he knew.

"Doberman, honey. He was scared. That's why it took him time to make it official." Said Alex smiling at him. Daniel looked at his fiancee, surprised that she would make such a stupid reason up. But it didn't look like MacMan had any troubles accepting it. Her smile charms the person enough for her nonsense to start making sense.

"It would have been a surprise if he wasn't.  But I hope I won't have to wait for the marriage so long." Said MacMan grinning at the couple.

"You won't." Promised Daniel.
-------------------

The wedding bells came by fast. Mr. MacMan greeted the groom. This time with a smirk.

"You kept your word. "

"I am a man of my words. " Daniel said.

"When would I see your kids then?" Teased MacMan.

"That too, you won't have to wait for long." Grinned back Daniel. He had gained another good friend over this time. And soon he spotted another one of his new close mates.

"You little punk, you better plan a vacation for me or I'll tear you into pieces. I want a complete refund of my gift." Grunted Livid as his wife smacked his arm. His wife was a beauty and as Livid had mentioned, and she was fierce.

"Me too." Came in Ryan.

"I want an escape. She would kill me." Ryan continued.

"That my sister you are talking about." Daniel said narrowing his eyes. Ryan and Sel had started dating just a while after he and Alex had. And those two were perfect for one another. One was free flowing water and the other a stubborn burning ball of fire.

"I know, I can't even forget that in my dreams. Because it seems that every alternate day you find a reason to threaten me about cutting off my balls. But for awhile please." Ryan said wrapping himself on Daniel as Daniel tried to free himself.

"Okay we will think about it after my honeymoon."

"That means yes."

"No that means possibility." Right then the doors opened to welcome the bride. She looked like a deity. Words just couldn't describe her beauty. Daniel was awestrucked. The groomsmen had taken there place as the bride was escorted by her father. As soon as the bride reached in front of him. He recalled every moment they spent together.

Soon her hand was in his and everything seemed like a dream. The people and the surrounding around them seemed blur. She seemed to be the only focus of his life at this very moment.

They shared promises even before they spoke them out loud. Their gazes so intense that they burned one other in the flames of passion, desire and love.

'You may kiss the bride' was heard in the background but it was enough for him to take action. But just to tease her he simply pecked her lips. Only did he know who he was messing with. She bit his lips before he could let go. Drawing out a bit of blood from his lower lip.

"You trying to mess with me. I am a rebel whom you bought as a maid. Makes me a Rebellious maid, doesn't it." She said seductively. At this moment he was trying hard to control himself.

"Not like you acted like one." He whispered back. Listening to that she gave him a devilish smile and slowly moved her hand to the back of his neck. Surprising him by suddenly pulling him forward just to clash their lips firmly. That erupted a great amount of response from the audience. Yet again this woman tested his self control that was on the verge of breaking.

"There are people around." He rasped out. Gathering all the remaining bits of restrain he could find within him.

"When did that ever stop me." She grinned. Daniel shook his head. Thinking how did he find such an outstanding woman.

"I don't know what I did in my past life to deserve this." He spoke out loud.

"Surely something great. Now follow my lead." She said as she took a good hold of his hand.

This way his bride dragged him by the hand down the stage. The bouquet that was once gracing her hand was long flung into the air.

As the bouquet landed in the hands of the bride's sister-in-law, the bride escaped with her groom.
