It was time. The night of Kuroiro and Komori's first date. Kuroiro was getting ready in his dorm. He put on a carrie horror T-shirt and a pair of black jeans. He showered prior and made sure he smelled fresh and looked good. Kaibara and Tsuburaba stopped by Kuroiros dorm to give him some last minute advice.

Tsuburaba: Hey Shihai, tonights the night man, are you ready?

Kuroiro: I guess. I can't lie, I may look calm and collective on the outside, but truthfully, I'm shitting myself.

Kaibara: No need to be so nervous man. Remember what we said, just be yourself and the rest will fall into place. Also, you're going in those clothes?

Kuroiro: Yeah, why?

Tsububuraba: Dude, he's not marrying her, who cares. Plus like you said, he should be himself.

Kaibara: Fine fine, but a first impression is a last impression.

Kuroiro: Are you insinuating I leave off a bad first impression Sen?

Kaibara: No no, I'm just reminding you, is all.

Kuroiro: Uh huh.

Kuroiro left his dorm to stop by a nearby store to pick up some flowers. He hurried so he wouldn't be late.

(Komori's POV)

Komori was still fixing herself up for the date. She was doing her makeup while Kendo and Tokage were in her dorm helping her pick out something to wear.

Tokage: Komori, I think this one looks good on you!

Kendo: No way, it's too nice for a first date. Yeah sure, she should dress nice, but it's the first date, keep that in mind.

Tokage: Who cares? Kuroiro is head over heels for her, he wouldn't care.

Just hearing that made Komori blush.

Tokage: Ohhhhh, why are you blushing Komori? Have I perhaps hit a nerve?

Komori: N... No. Just let me finish, please.

Tokage: OH, THIS ONE'S CUTE, THIS ONE!

Tokage: OH, THIS ONE'S CUTE, THIS ONE!

This was the dress.

Kendo: I like that one!

Komori: It's super cute, I forgot I had that one!

Komori finished her makeup and got changed. She sprayed some perfume and took one last glance in the mirror.

Tokage: Damn, can I take you out tonight instead of Shihai? Looking like quite the snack.

Komori: Haha, thanks Set.

Kendo: You look great Komori! I know this date will go well!

Komori: Thanks Kendo!

Tokage and Kendo helped Komori cleaned up and hurried out before Shihai arrived.

Kendo: Let us know how it goes! Text us when you get a moment!

Tokage: You got this girlie!

Komori: Thank you guys so much and I will.

(Back to Kuroiro's POV)

Kuroiro just got back to the dorms after grabbing a small bouquet of flowers for Komori. He hurried upstairs to her dorm room. When he arrived, he took one last deep breath and knocked. She answered almost instantaneously.

Komori: Hi Shihai! Ready to go?

Kuroiro's eyes widened. The way she looked was so breathtaking to him. He started to sweat a little but tried his best to keep his composure.

Kuroiro: Uhh... Hello Komori and yeah I'm ready.

Kuroiro gave Komori the flowers he had bought for her.

Kuroiro: These are for you.

Komori: Omg! Shihai you did not have to buy me these!

Kuroiro: When I saw them they... They reminded me of you...

Komori: Awww, that's so sweet. Thank you so much.

Komori planted a kiss on his cheek and Kuroiro began to blush along with a goofy smile forming on his face.

Kuroiro: S... Shall we go?

Komori: Yes, we shall!

The two teens walked downstairs and through the commons. Setsuna and Kendo were sitting down there while they passed by, giving Komori a thumbs up.

Tokage: Have fun you two!

They both nodded their heads and walked out the front door. While walking, Komori tried engaging in small talk.

Komori: Shihai, I wanted to tell you that I think about those things you said about me when you were outside alone a lot last week a lot. Do you really feel that way about me?

Kuroiro: They were words straight from my heart. Maybe the weight was getting too heavy, I don't know, but all I know is I'm glad it came out.

Komori: Yeah, me too. You have such a way with your words Shihai. It's really attractive.

Kuroiro began to blush.

Kuroiro: T... Thanks.

Komori: Also, I was wondering, why did you apply to U.A.? When everyone shared their story, you just stayed silent and walked away.

Kuroiro sighed

Kuroiro: You really want to know why?

Komori: Of course. Why wouldn't I?

Kuroiro: When I was younger, I didn't have a good relationship with my parents. They never much cared for me or my needs. They were both worked and had majored in Business. Financially we were well off, but I didn't have the one thing that truly mattered to me. The love and support from my own parents. They expected me to major in business and someday take their ranks. But that's not what I wanted. When I applied to U.A. and got accepted, they were furious. They said they didn't consider me their son anymore and kicked me out. They said I could never be an efficient hero with my quirk. For the longest time, I lived with my uncle until the dorm system was put into place. I have never spoken to my parents since that day. But that's why I want to become a hero. To show the world it doesn't matter who or where you're from. Anyone from anywhere can do anything, and I want to be living proof of that statement.

Komori was shocked whilst she had a tear dripping down her cheek. She hugged Kuroiro.

Komori: I wasn't lying when I said you have a way with your words. That was so sad, I never knew that about you. I love and support you in every way possible Shihai Kuroiro.

Kuroiro's face was boiling red

Kuroiro's thoughts: Did... Did she just say she... Loves me?!

Komori let go and grabbed his hand, insinuating she wanted to hold his hand the rest of the walk there. Kuroiro got the hint and went along. Kuroiro was boiling red and avoiding eye contact with Komori while she was just blushing slightly. They hadn't even gotten to their destination and they were both already having a blast. Both Kuroiro and Komori knew it was going to be a good night.
