You stormed back into the Shelby office pulling out some snow. Once ingested I sat down and began to rub my stomach. I was so excited at the thought of becoming a mum and thought Finn would be the same...but apparently not.
You closed your eyes leaning back in your chair and eventually drifted off to sleep. You rudely disrupted by Polly racing into the office.
"Y/n oh my goodness there you are thank God...boys boy's she's in here!" she balled down the stairs.
"Polly please just leave me be"
"Y/n, please Finn's been searching for you...he just wants to talk...come on think about the baby"
You sighed. You knew she was right. You were going to have to talk to Finn at some point.
Finn came walking into the office bright red and almost panting suggesting he'd be frantically hunting you. You sat back down in your chair and again started to rub and cradle your small growing bump. Finn leaned on the desk opposite you but you refused to meet his eyes.
"Y/n...y/n will you look at me please"
You rolled your eyes turning you chair 90 degrees so your eyes meet. He had a sorrowful look on his face but you didn't let your cold exterior crumble.
"I know there's nothing I can say or do to make up for what I've done I just hope you can find it within your heart to forgive me whether that be now or some day in the future. I love you y/n I do really but I can't be the man you want me to be I just can't. In regards to the baby it's completely your choice on what to do and I'll be behind you through everything. I still love you an enormous amount and I wish we could stay together but I'm guessing that's not what you want"
"Finn...what I saw today broke me. I was so excited to tell you about the baby. I was finally getting the little family I'd been denied. We made vows and promises Finn in preparation for our wedding day. Three years wasted and now we've created a new life that's going to come into this world thinking everything's okay. I love you so much but I need to know if anything's going to change"
"Y/n...I will try everything in my power to stop anything ever happening again. Your the only person I want to be with. What happened today...I was stupid and an idiot and a moron"
"Yes you were"
"I promise I'll try my very best to keep you happy and our baby happy and safe"
"Imma hold you to that you know Mr Shelby"
The pair of you stood up and embraced each other. Finn had never hugged you tighter than he had in this moment. He began to twizzle the ends of your hair and you started swaying. He pulled apart and looked down to your stomach placing his hands on your bump.
"I can't believe we're having a baby"
"I know...we're growing up Finn"
"It's crazy"
"FINNNNN" Tommy yelled from downstairs
"Coming" he called back "I have to go but I'll see you back at home tonight okay"
You nodded and he walked to rejoin his brothers. Polly walked in smiling at you.
"Congratulations darling"
"Thanks Poll"
She pulled you into a hug and gave you a little squeeze from excitement.
"He'll make a great father y/n...it'll be the kick up the arse he need's. But as long as I have breathe he will never hurt you or the baby again...I promise you that".
