Star Gazing- chapter 3

It was evening now . And I was here on my father's couch sitting while looking out the windows admiring the stars lining towards each other when I heard papa call my name. " Sarah. Do you want to go star gazing with me at the rooftop?" He ask which made my eyes widen and nodded my head eagerly. Which made my father chuckle as he got up and stand on his feet while he scoop me up and we walk out of his office and onto the rooftop. Papa started walking upstairs while I hold onto his neck. "Papa. What do you think is happening now on mama in heaven?" I ask as my father looks at me then replied. "She might be watching us with your aunty Isabelle and uncle farlan" I nod and we arrive at the rooftop as he put me down and I walk to the edge and sit down then look up at the sky. " Papa can you tell me how did you met mama?" I ask as I was still focus on the stars. My father sit beside me and sigh " it's quite a long story Sarah but I'll tell you. I met your mom on the underground actually."

Flashback
Levi's pov

I was zipping on the air with farlan and Isabel when Isa suddenly saw a wagon with boxes full of food. We look at each other and nod then zip on the land while we run and fly again making the boxes fall on the ground but we manage to grab a certain items of food when someone suddenly call us. "You idiots bring back the food" that made me look down and saw a beautiful girl with brown silky hair tied into a ponytail and forest green eyes looking at us with pity while I look away and 'tch'.

The next day.

We started stolen food again but not before the same man attempted to stop us and called out the MP which got no match with us. When we heard the girl from before. " Bring back our goods pls." I can hear her begging but we didn't came back. The same day the same thing happened but it was just different today cause the girl get a good grip in my hands. "Uhmmm..... I think you need this" I look at her as she was looking down holding a bag full of food. "Why are you helping us?" I ask her not quite sure if I should get the food she is giving me. " I see you stoling food all the time so I just wanna help" she said. " We don't need help brat" I replied while I yank my arms away."I just want to help why can't you let me?" Now I saw her crying. I sigh then went back to her and grab the bag full of goods and walk away "Thankyou" I said and left. The girl was left dumbfounded as she smile at our leaving form.

End of flashback

My father looks at me as he finish telling me the story making me ooh and aaah as he look at me. " Mama is such a nice woman." I said " but papa why am I not like her?" I ask tilting my head as my father sigh then look at the star before looking at me . " Cause Sarah you both had mine and your mama's personality." Papa repliedm "eh that doesn't answer my question papa" he sigh again. " Well I don't know baby you kinda just came into this world without me knowing about it." Papa said and I nod my head. " Papa us there. Training corps here?" I ask he just shrug his shoulder. "Do you want me to train you to become a soldier?" Papa ask which made me look at him and nod then smile. " Then its settle. But promise me Sarah once we finish this intense training you won't ever show emotions to anyone. And you will live your life to the fullest and take care of those people you care the most." Papa Levi said. " Yes papa that's a promise" I replied. We look at the star again. After an hour of silence while just gazing at the sky. I finally let out a yawn and stretch my arms out. My father got up from his position then he walks to me and scoop me up. " Come one Sarah. It's time to sleep" papa said Andi nod then close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

Levi's pov

I look down at my daughter's feature and saw her fast asleep. I smile and open the door to the rooftop and close it behind me slowly as I walk down the stairs and onto the hallways as I turn right and walk to my office not before I hear a thud which made me look at the other side of the hall and walk down the flight of stairs and saw hanji kicks the messhall table. "Hey shitty glasses. What the hell are you doing?" I ask with venom lacing on my voice. Hanji looks at me with a surprised look as she put her eyeglass back to its original position before putting her hands on the pocket of her jeans and look at me then replied. " Oh I taught I saw a fly so I kick the table." She looks at me with a look that says her my ng abilities as I turn around and started walking upstairs followed by hanji. "Clean it up tomorrow glasses." I said "of course Levi" she respond as she look infront of me and saw my daughter sleeping form. "Oh she's sleeping already. How cute" hanji said pinching my daughter's cheek making me growl. " Four eyes get your dirty hands off my daughter" I said as she giggled . I finally arrive to at the 2nd floor as I went to my room and open the door of my office then quickly went to my room and turn the light on as I put my daughter on the bed and gently place the blanket on her and kiss her forehead as I walk back to my office after I turn off the light and close the door as I did my paper work for the day.
