Once again Eve found herself staring out of the window of her room conflicting with herself. Her feelings just couldn't go away. Who did she want? Was it Link or was it Joseph?

"Why do they have to make this so difficult?" She thought to herself "I mean Joseph has a strong jawline, beautiful brown chocolatey eyes and a beautiful personality, but he lied to me. Left me to be a fool like everyone else. Then there is Link." Eve's heart stopped even when the though of link came to her mind. A tingly feeling ran through her and she felt mesmerized. "His gorgeous emerald green eyes and the way he makes me feel perfect. He is always there at the drop of a hat and it seems like he cares about me more than anyone else could ever. Then Joseph stares at my figure like I'm a saint that should never be touched. On the other hand link makes me feel untouchable by how much he cares about me. He wouldn't care if I was as ugly as an old hag."

Eve kept switching between the pros and cons between the two boys. I mean could you blame her? Joseph was a handsome hunk with a devious smile and Link was a charming young man who could care less about who you were as long as your personality was beautiful.

Time slowly passed and Eve ended up sleepily clambering into bed at around 1am. What she didn't know was that on the other side of town Link was sitting at his own desk writing about his love for Eve and pouring out every ounce of love into the rustic diary that he had.

"I...I don't wanna be selfish and hog your perfection to myself...but I also desire to make you mine so I could spend my every moment trying to make you blissful to an exponentially increasing degree with each passing day together" Link wrote as tears slipped from his eyes onto the paper. He was trying to forget the smirk Joseph had given him that day at the coronation, but he couldn't help but think about it. He loved Eve too much and he felt like he was going to give in to his worst nightmare. He did feel some sort of hope when eve was staring at him. It made him melt in his chair. He abruptly started to write again.

"Your happiness is the prominent producer, propitiously paving the path of my happiness, the road that intersects yours and never branches off. As long as you're walking with me on this winding road, it matters not where it ends, and where it goes through, I will be happily content and complete." he continued on writing. The tears in his eyes damped the pages and he slowly continued his entry. He was trying to make sure the ink wouldn't blur. He didn't want anyone to see this side of him. Especially Eve. He was determined to stay strong for her, just so that he could win her heart.

"I love her so much, but that really begs the question doesn't it? Am I supposed to fight and fight and vie for her affections even if that partly goes against her voiced wishes? Or do I let her decide her happiness?
How silly a question. Wrong or right mattered little in love, love is a battlefield. All is fair in love and war, nothing is out of play, and to say my methods were justified was putting it lightly. I will never stop trying for you eve, even if it makes me go delirious. Why?" Link started to question everything he thought. Everything his life meant. Everything she meant to him. This would be the only way he could get out his feelings. The Gleaming sun was rising once more and Link had spent the whole night thinking about the love of his life. He needed to carry on though. He had to keep going until he couldn't take the pain of possibly never having her as his other half.

"Because here's my opinion on love:
If you truly love the person, despite any obstacle coming up, you will make yourself a consistent presence in their life. And yes it's scary to be at someone else's mercy...but love? It's trusting in their next action, no matter the stakes. Eve could break my heart in two, but I cared little. If I wasn't willing to put a little risk. Could I even truly say I loved her?!"
Link stopped. He couldn't take it anymore. He fled from his desk and layed on his bed, head in his pillow and pondered his thoughts. His vulnerable self slowly falling into a deep slumber.
