Chapter 8

{Gray POV}

I woke up in the guild's infirmary, and immediately sat up, making a wave of nausea to pass through my body. I retched, but didn't throw up. I looked around for Natsu, or anyone.

"Where is everyone?" I stood up and went outside. I heard sounds of weeping.

"What's going on...?" I asked. Lucy saw me.

"Gray!" Lucy jumped up as everyone turned towards me too. I blinked a few times, before looking around. Where was Natsu?

"Gray..." Lucy ran to me and grabbed both my hands. "You have to listen to me very carefully..." She looked me dead in the eye. I blinked a couple times again.

"How long have I been out?" I asked.

"Two days."

"Two days?!" Lucy flinched. "S-Sorry. Where's Natsu?"

Lucy looked down at her hands, which were grabbing mine. She started to tear up, her hands shaking a bit. A bad feeling washed over me.

"Lucy, where's Natsu?"

"I-I don't think I can say..."

"Where is he, Lucy?!" I lifted her chin so that she could see my face. Tears were streaming down her face.

"He's gone..." Lucy fell to her knees and bawled her eyes out.

Gone?

"W-What do you mean? I brought him back, I'm sure I did!" I laughed. "Come on, Natsu, no more games! I know you're there, Pyro!" I went around, looking behind Mira and in Master's office. "Where are you?!" I yelled. I went outside the guild. It was raining.

"Natsu!" I ran back into the guild, where Gajeel stopped me and grabbed both of my shoulders.

"Face it, Ice Boy! Salamander's gone!" Gajeel was trying to hold back tears. Wendy was crying too, but a lot. Everyone was soon just crying, not giving a damn in the world.

"N-No, he's not!" I screamed, struggling out of Gajeel's grasp. "My boyfriend is not gone!"

Everyone looked up at me.

"Boyfriend...?" Lisanna asked. They all looked at me.

"I was his boyfriend, god dammit!" I yelled out. Juvia cried more, the sound of rain outside becoming louder.

Mira walked over to me, pulling me into her embrace. "He passed away yesterday, Gray. He couldn't walk at all, and he was trembling in fear. The doctors said he died of shock. And for some reason, his body had a lot of...white liquid. If you know what I mean. The doctors said that he was very sexually active, and could have been rape, looking at his symptoms."

"Rape?" I asked. She nodded.

"I'm sorry."

"Wh-Who could've raped him?" I asked. No one replied.

"We don't know that much Gray..." Master came out of his spot. "But we're having a funeral for him in 3 days. A genuine one, this time."

I fell to my exhausted knees, sobbing. I found my love after 4 long years, and he's gone...again. This time, forever.

"Take me with you!" I slammed the floor with my fists, making them bleed. I didn't care. "Take me with you, you dumbass!" Lucy came over to me and hugged me. I sobbed into her shoulder, as she sobbed into mine. Everyone gathered around me, hugging, and sobbing as a group. Natsu was taken from us, our light, and the whole reason why we came this far, was because of Natsu. And he was gone.

{Natsu POV}

I woke up in a blank room. It was completely white, and I was on the floor. I looked down and saw that I was in my normal body. Like, I had a toned chest, and my muscles. And I felt...strong. I still remembered about Sting, and my fear for him just suddenly came back. I felt myself shrink, and soon, I was in my frail body again.
