Chapter 9

So...there just might be a little lemon...

{Gray POV}

I was confused.

"Great, now I'm seeing and hearing Natsu...I must have gone crazy..." Lucy said. She looked at the grave. She took a shaky breath. "You can rest in peace now, Natsu. No need to worry about us."

"Hey! I didn't die, what the hell? And Lucy, why the heck are you in a wheelchair?" Lucy looked up. Her eyes grew, her eyelids fluttering.

"I-I'm not dreaming, right?" She asked. "That's Natsu, right? He's...What?!"

"H-How?!" Erza asked. I covered my mouth, trying hard not to yell out. Natsu looked at me, and widened his eyes.

"Gray!" He lunged at me and fell into my arms. The frail body that was once seen a year ago was replaced with his usual body and personality.

"I've missed you guys so much..." Over the years, I think I've grown, because I was a head taller than him. He wrapped his arms around my torso, and his heat radiated warmth into my cold body. I was too surprised to hug back.

Silence.

"Guys, it's extremely awkward for me if you stay quiet like that. Are you not happy to see me?"

"But...How?" Erza asked. I looked down at him, touching his soft cheek with my hand. He leaned into it, kissing it gently.

"You're real..." I said.

"Yeah. I'm home." He said, giving us all a smile.

"But how?" Lucy asked.

"Igneel trained me. Something about my soul leaving my body. But stop talking about me. What happened to you?" He said, pointing at the wheelchair.

"I just...My muscles stopped working." She said. She started to tear up, before sobbing in her chair. "T-Turns out being in bed for too long takes its affect...It's all your fault, you big dummy, return my damn legs."

"Oh..." He hugged her, and she hugged back. To be honest, I didn't know what to feel. I just kinda stood there.

"Can we talk alone?" Natsu asked, pointing at me and him.

"Mhm, sure. Let's go tell the guild that he's back Lucy." Erza said. She gave him a tender hug, patting his back. "I'm glad you're back..."

"Yeah, thanks, Erza. Missed you a lot."

Lucy smiled and they left. We stayed in silence for a few seconds, just staring at each other.

"I-I don't know what to feel right now-" Natsu suddenly kissed me. It wasn't deep, but it was filled with love. We both sunk to our knees, just kissing, and enjoying the moment. He pulled away, gasping for air.

"I've really missed you..." He flung himself on me, making me fall back. His arms went around my neck, and mine went around his torso.

"You're back..." I said, kissing his cheek over and over again, making sure that he was actually alive.

"I am." He released me and looked down at me. I looked up at him. We just stared at each other for a little bit before kissing again. It got a little heated, and soon, our tongues danced together. His tongue swirled around mine, and we soon separated, a string of saliva connecting us. He pecked me, breaking the string.

"That felt nice." He said, grinning. He got off of me so that I could sit straight up.

We waited for Lucy and Erza to grab everyone. Remember how I said Fairy Tail disbanded? Some of us still came to the building from time to time to check up on each, see how we're doing. We didn't exactly "disband", per se, but it was close.
