It was a bright morning I took some time to climb out of my bed. Today is my interview. Liz open her mouth to say something but she didn't and I gave her a look and she finally opened her mouth and she said "it doesn't hit me hard enough that my best friend became my girlfriend and I am so fortunate to have all of you too me". We finally out of the house. She dive into the driver seat, she is good at driving especially after we move to New York. I don't drive that much and I don't own a car. I turn on the radio and listening to the traffic updates. As we are riding. I saw my knotted fingers and thinking about the interview. She suddenly break the silence in between us "nervous?" she asked, her voice startled me I jumped in seat. She laughed and asked "why are you being so jumpy right now relax your not gonna die if you're not gonna get this job". I said "I'll" before I even realise what I said to her. She frowned at me and gave me mixed reactions. I said "I have been jobless for 6 months and you were the one who is paying the rent for the house. I know you said I shouldn't be worring about paying rent or expanses that you spend on me, but for how long. We both came to an conclusion if we gonna take a house and it is for rent we have to share the rent but for these 6 months you took care of me like you owe me, you asked me to stop discussing about spendings money on me, so I think it is time for me to payback my first salary will be in your bank account if at all I didn't get this job you got it" I asked her finally I try to calm my breath. She didn't say a word she just focused on the road. I said "Liz please don't say no to this". I waited for her to say something. After the traffic light changed to green we started to move. Liz finally said "Ray I know you're worried about me spending my salary on you. I am doing this not because I am your girlfriend or as a best friend. I am doing this because I really love to take care of you and I really can afford the expense trust me". I said "but-...." She cut me off said "end of discussing Ray we have to focus on one thing which is your interview". She tune into radio station so we won't be surrounded by awkward silence anymore and I won't be able to talk to her that's her plan.
