Chapter 13 The Professional boss ( Ray's pov)

I was just holding her still and make her to lie down on the floor and Mr William just staring at me like what am I doing ? I asked him to get any doctor he run to get his phone that has been laying on his table. I was waiting for him to make a call. I tried to get her wake up by shaking her a bit before I can do anything further  "you can't do that you're not a doctor or a trained nurse so let us take her to hospital let them take care of her" he said while ringing someone I assume a doctor . Aww... How sweet, you are really kind but have you lost your mind you hand is still bleeding and you didn't do anything to stop that but you are worried about Andrea she will be fine but I don't think you will be your cut needs stitches (even though I am over exaggerating you get the point) i said to myself. "But who is there to take care of you" and I pointed out towards his hand and he didn't say anything. I said "let me take care of her and then-" "No, no need to Andrea will do that she knows first aid and more over I couldn't able to reach my doctor if we took her outside of my building there will be paparazzi for sure I already think this company had enough of rumours and gossips going around we don't want those news seeking dogs to see her like this I won't allow it, then they will also assume i was the reason she is like this unconscious"  he cut me off. I hesitated to give up on this for some reason he is injured and he needs some help so I said "but-" he said in a stern tone "no I said she can take care of me now just help her please" he asked me with a sympathetic look. So I go ahead to wake her up by shaking her shoulder calling out her name patting her face to get some responses she slowly opened her eyes, she woke up surprisingly she got up and saw us it is sure she is confused what is going on here, she then noticed the injured hand of Mr William and she finally opened her mouth "what happened to you Ian?" she said, for the first time I am hearing her saying Ian. "I am fine how are you feeling" he asked her wow he completely ignored the fact that she called him Ian ok. Ian helped Andrea to stand still she was still unstable she pranced herself to hug him and they hugged each other this is awkward I said to myself. She asked "what happened Ian just talk to me" without even breaking the hug he said "I will... I will talk to you but first I need your help for this" he then break the hug by showing his injury. She said "yes yes I will come in there, you go and have a seat I will be there I just have to freshen up a bit and I will get you the first aid box "  "yeah fine then" he said and he finally noticed that I am still there standing in front of him  "you can come in after we have done with this mess" he said. Andrea walked away from us and he turned to walk into his room but then he stopped and turned towards me and said "thank you for coming back" he said with the smile. I don't know what to say I just nod and smiled at him back.

It had been more than half "n" hour since Andrea went into Mr William's room with the first aid kit and I am waiting in the waiting place. I was looking at my phone if I got any texts from liz but thank god I didn't get any yet and then the door opened suddenly and put everyone in shock because it was loud and alarming and I saw Andrea walking out of  his office with the first aid kit but she wasn't normal she didn't make eye contact with anyone she was keeping her eyes on the floor while she was walking I walk towards her and I saw her crying and sniffing. I was worried what happened to her I wonder. "Andrea" I called her name to get her attention but she just stop walking without facing me and said "you may go in all the best Ray" she didn't even make any eye contact before I can say anything she just walked away from me. What is happening here she looks like she has been crying for days, did something happen in there? Did Ian said something? What is wrong with her with that thought I finally took a deep breath and walk towards the room . I walked into his room and I was going to close the door before on que he said "please close the door for me" I gave him a half smile and closed the door. I don't want him to know that I am nervous about this whole interview situation and one of the reason I am really nervous it is because of him so I walked briskly. I finally stood Infront of him I noticed his wounded hands which is now wrapped up by some bandage and when I finally shift my eyes to his. I realised he is staring at me all this time. Why is he staring at me like that this is just making everything worse so I cut my eye contact with him and I saw his table it is rearranged now before it was all scattered and misplaced and then a file on the table got my attention. Omg it is my file. Oh shit what have you done Ray you left your file here before GOD!! I didn't even noticed that I left my file here but then he might have gone through this that's the reason he asked me to come back. "So Miss...? He asked me his voice bring me back from my thoughts. "Ray you can call me Ray Mr William" I said he didn't even remember my name great ... "So Miss Ray I have gone through your file as you might have noticed" and his eyes points out the file in his table he continues to talk "even though I know most of the things about you I wanted to hear it from you and there was a small pause and he continues to say  "so shall we start from your name I mean you full name I want your full name" this time he said in a more pressed tone. He is being so serious right now so I better do as he says. " My name is Rachel Franklin My close friends and family even in my last workplace they used to call me Ray"- before I can say anything further he cut me off. "Ok Miss Franklin I wanted you to understand something this workplace is not like other workplaces here everything should be done by the rules you have to be strictly professional inside this workplace so I will call you Miss Franklin here afterwards". Oh no I hate my last name why does he wants to call me with that name so i said "you can call me-"  he cuts me off again before I say anything further "look Miss Franklin I wanted everything and everyone work under my rules as you can see I am the boss here  so it starts from how do I address you in the workplace". There was a pause and he continues "if you're not fine with it then you can leave ". I said immediately "Um... Uh.. no no Mr William I am completely fine with it you can call me Miss Franklin too" and gave him a apologetic smile. " I wanted some answers from you and some might be personal some might be just general stuff about you if your not comfortable in answering about any of my questions that I am gonna ask you, you should feel free to say it to me that your not comfortable talking about it is that clear Miss Franklin"?. I saw him in shock holy shit this is the first time he is talking to me without even a awkward pause. He gave me his cocky look and I noticed it and I cut out of my thoughts in my head " yeah of course I will be open about everything and I will also be truthful  if some of your questions make me feel uncomfortable"  I said with the smile. "Here is your first question why do you want this job I mean in other words what is the reason?" (Clears throat) "I need to pay my rent and bills, I am eating the same take away food and cup noodles for a while because I don't have enough money to buy proper groceries". I didn't realise what did I just say  I bite my tongue oh god Ray you dumbass bitch I shouted at myself and then I realised that he is smirking at me with his eye brow raised.  I was searching words to say something " Uh.. um-.. but he cut me off again "thank you for being really honest"he left a chuckle.  "I get that your really in need for money" he said with a full smile . Yes you dumbass  you didn't hear me are you deaf? I try not to laugh because of my thoughts about him.  "Ok so I have something to serious discuss about" he has my full attention now. "Since we gonna hire you I wanted something to be clear". "I have few questions now so try to answer seriously" he said. Omg did he just said that they gonna hire me omg Ray but it is really soon to be feeling happy the interview didn't even finished yet with that thought I nodded my head so he can ask me questions. "So Miss Franklin why did you resigned your work in Claire and co company" that brings me back to a part of the painful side of my life.
