Episode 3 (Beginning of a Tragedy)

"What's taking Ran so long? It's been over 30 mins..."

Sonoko was right. It's been already 30 mins since the last time they saw Ran.

One can think she's taking her time in the restroom, but Ran doesn't usually take this long.

Then there is only one explanation... Something has happened to Ran.

After analyzing the situation, Conan got very anxious and his heart started to beat really fast.

"Everyone, I'll go ahead and look for Ran-nee-chan. It seems like she got lost. Wait here until I come back!"

Just as Conan was about to run towards the restroom, someone grabbed his left wrist.

That person was none other than Haibara.

Haibara quietly whispered to Conan's ear.

"Kudo-Kun...I'm coming with you."

Before Conan could respond, Haibara also instructed the kids to wait here and accompanied him without his agreement.

While heading towards the restroom building, Conan spoke with an irritated tone

"Why did you decide to follow me? You're not a little child. I told you, Ran must've lost her way on the way back..."

"what...?"

"Seven-year-old kids may believe you without raising any question, but not me. Something happened to Ran...right?

"H...How did yo..."

'Argh... She's way too quick to hide anything from her' said Conan in his mind.

"Also...You now believe they (BO) are here in this amusement park."

For the first time, Conan felt fear towards Haibara.

How did she know all this?

"What...Why are you staring at me that surprised face? I figured it out when I was on the drop tower. While I was enjoying the view, I just happened to see your expression turn dark. Then I knew they were here."

"You're right Haibara...I saw them.

Gin and Vodka... I saw their faces with my own eyes"

Shiho suddenly felt trapped and could not breathe, but she tried her best to hid it from Conan.

"That's why I decided to follow you. When you face them, you might panic and do something stupid. If that happens, it would also put me in a difficult situation. And so, this is something I must do to ensure our safety."

Conan couldn't argue back because what she said wasn't wrong.

At that moment, Haibara said one more thing with a slightly trembling voice
