The sun was shining at Beika's District Hospital.

Conan, rubbing his tired eyes, slowly got up from the floor.

As he looked around the room, he saw Haibara and Kogoro still asleep.

Conan silently looked at sleeping Haibara and recalled her last night's confession.

As if it was like a dream

*Flashback*

"Kudo-Kun...

Haibara's expression was calm and serene, but she said those words to me with a trembling voice.

"Wh...what did you just say? No way...Haibara what are you saying right now?"

(Shiho) I was telling the truth.

(Shinichi) This did not make any sense.

Just as if the world was trying to illustrate Conan's current emotions, there was a loud thunder.

"Ha...Haibara, are you not feeling well?

Shiho was seriously hurt by Conan's reaction.

She never expected any romantic reaction or response back.

But... treating her like a sick patient? That was way too much.

"Am I not allowed to have feelings for you? Can I not even secretly love y...?"

Shiho suddenly became self-aware and she was surprised by seeing herself losing control of her emotions.
