(A/n): Ever been inspired to write a season's worth of plot playing a video game while your weeblet of a brother watches Konosuba in the background? Well I was, and now I present to you with this piece of fiction before it gets lost within the sea of blackness which is my mind.

Also yes, the title is indeed a Cautious Hero reference. I like making them, references I mean. So for all intents and purposes, all references in this book are intentional. Feel free to point them out if you want, kudos to the ones who find the really obscure ones I have.

You are (Y/n) (L/n).

Throughout your life you've been called a lot of things, a loner, emo, lazy, nerd, and otaku just to name a few. And as of recently, dead. Deceased or RETIRED, you ponder.

Granted, most of them were true. But there's just one thing that your brain is still denying.

Because you died apparently, run over by an ambulance... apparently.

(Y/n): "Can you please just explain how I got run over by an ambulance?"

You ask the white haired goddess in front of you, Eris, she introduced herself earlier.

Eris: "Oh well, you see..."

Flashback...

(Y/n): "That my mind is too fast for eyes!"

You sang to the music blaring at your earphones, waiting for the stop light to indicate that it's okay to walk, not that any cars were passing by mind you. But as a law abiding citizen, you intended to follow the rules.

When the light turned red and you saw that it was safe to cross and that there where still no cars passing by, you crossed the street dancing to the music.

(Y/n): "You're done in~! By the! time it hits you, your Last Surprise--!"

*CRASH!*

Flashback end...

The goddess continued with an almost apologetic look.

Eris: The drivers were laughing about the person they were taking to the hospital, apparently their death was hysterical enough for them not to notice you crossing the street...or them running over you.

(Y/n): "Oof, Did they at least come back for my body?"

She gave you another apologetic smile.

Eris: "Well yes, but...not for another few hours since there was nobody else there to see your dead body and report it. And even so, they didn't know it was them who killed you nor anyone else for that matter..."
