The Chosen One

They took me with them

'Do you promise me that you won't die?' I heard saying in my head while I waked up in a shock because of it. I held my hand up and looked at it. 'Am I really the chosen one?' I thought. I laid back down with my eyes open. 'Is it my destiny?' I quietly said. I grabbed my brothers necklace and held it in my hand. 'Brother, I don't know where you are or if you're alive but I will find you.' I said while tears were flowing out of my eyes.

Mena's POV. I was standing by Jay's door when I heard all the things he was saying. 'I didn't know he has a brother.' I thought. 'Wait is a second, I didn't have him heard talking about his parents or family at all.' I quietly said. 'Is there somebody?' I heard Jay asking while I was in shock. I gulped and walked into his room. 'Oh Mena, what are you doing here?' He asked me. 'I was just walking by and mumbeling things.' I lied. ' Alright so couldn't you sleep?' He asked me while I nodded. 'Say Jay could you tell me about your past, family and your friends because I don't know anything about you.' I said. 'S-sure if you want that but then I want to hear all those things from you too, alright?' He said while I nodded. 'You know what, I'm going to say it first and then it's your turn.' I said while Jay nodded. 'I didn't had any friends because me and my parents traveled so much so I couldn't make any friends. One day when we were walking there was a bunch of Tokats attacking us and my parents helped me escape but they didn't survive the attack. I was wandering in the woods hoping to find somebody to help me and then there he was.' I said 'Who did you find?' Jay asked me. 'I found Tyrone.' I answered and Jay was shocked. 'He took me in and raised me like his own daughter.' I said while smiling. 'Wow I didn't know that your past was that intense.' Jay said. 'Yeah it's pretty intense but now I want to know what your past was like.' I said. 'Alright if you want to know that so badly.' He said. Jay's POV. 'I lived with my parents and my younger brother in a little house in the world where I live until my father passed away when I was seven years old and my brother four years old. We didn't know how he died but we knew that he wouldn't come back so we didn't want to know the cost of his dead. Six years later my brother dissapeard when we were walking in the woods. We don't know if he's alive or not but I miss him very much. I have a lot of friends who are nice to me. And yeah I ended up in this world because I found something what brought me here but I didn't know what it was.' I said. 'Wow your brother has gone missing? That's terrible.' Mena said to me. 'Yes....yes it is.' I said with tears coming out of my eyes what didn't stop. 'Jay, are you alright?' Mena asked me. I nodded while I cried even harder. Suddenly, Mena began to hug me and then I began to tear even more. 'I just want to go home and find my brother.' I said quietly. Mena hugged me tighter but didn't say anything. 'I think i'm going to fresh my self up some water.' I said while standing up. 'But you know that you have to go outside for water now because it's night?' Mena said. 'Yeah I know.' I said smiling. 'Could you please come back as fast as you can because I want to tell you something.' Mena said and I nodded. I walked out of my room and then downstairs. There wasn't anyone in the hall. 'Maybe they're all asleep.' I thought. I walked outside to the water tub. I put my hands in it and I took a handfull of water and I threw it in my face. Water was dripping from my face and hair but I didn't care. It felt refreshing so I did it a couple of times. I looked into the water and began to think about my brother when I felt a uneasy precense. I looked in front of me and saw a Tokat. 'Hello.' I heard someone saying behind me so I quickly turned around and saw another Tokat. I felt then a shock into my back of my neck and because of that I passed out into the arms of the Tokat who stood before me. 'Alright we have him.' One of the Tokats said. They began to ran into the woods with me in their arms.

On the same time in Jay's room. Mena's POV. 'Why is it taking him so long to get here?' I asked myself. I looked out of the window to look to the stars when I suddenly saw three things running to the woods. I looked more carefully and I saw that it were two Tokats with Jay in one of their arms. I couldn't believe what I saw. I ran out of Jay's room and wanted to ran to Tyrone but I bumped into someone and fell on the ground. 'Mena are you alright?' I heard someone saying so I looked up and saw Jean standing. He helped me back up and saw me in tears. 'Mena? Are you hurt?' He asked me. 'N-no the the T-t-tokats they they they.....' I couldn't say it because I was in a big shock. 'Please Mena calm down and say it properly!' Jean said but a bit too hard because of him some soldiers waked up. 'What's wrong with Mena?' I heard Burik asking. 'I don't know!' Jean yelled. Then Tyrone walked over to us. 'Mena could you please say what's wrong?' Tyrone asked me while holding my hands causing me to calm down. 'THE TOKATS, THEY TOOK JAY WITH THEM!!!' I yelled making all of the soldiers causing to shock. 'This is bad.' Tyrone said. 'What are we going to do?' Vanessa asked. 'We don't do a thing.' Tyrone answered. 'Why not!?' I yelled. 'Because they need the crystal too to get their power back so if they only have Jay we don't have to worry.' He said and then walking off. 'He can't be serious.' I quietly said with tears in my eyes. Vanessa began to hug me to comfort me and because of that, I began to cry even harder. 'Please Jay, be safe.' I quietly said so no one could hear me.

Jay's POV. I felt dizzy when I opened my eyes. I didn't know what exactly happend back there but one thing was for sure and that was that I was taken away by Tokats. 'It's seems that the boy is awake.' I heard someone saying. I looked up carefully and saw a big long male Tokat standing in front of me. 'Stand up!' The Tokat yelled so I stand up. I was in a big room with some Tokats and there was someone probaly a Tokat who wears a black cloack with a hoodie. I couldn't see his face properly but I saw that he was smirking. He sat on a throne starring at me. 'So your Jay, the chosen one.' He then said with a voice who sounded familiare. 'Yeah so?' I said wanting to sound cool but I said it with a bit fear in it. 'Don't talk to him so rude!' The big Tokat said and punching me on the head. 'Calm down Harry, Jay is....precious to us.' He slowly said still smirking. 'So what do you want from me anyway?' I said slightly irritated. 'We need you to regain our powers.' He said. I already knew this but I just wanted to check if he wanted to lie to me. 'So what's your name?' I asked. 'You find out sooner or later but not now.' 'And why not!?' I yelled angry. 'Because I don't want to tell you that yet.' He said while his smirk began to grow on his face. I walked angry over to him ready to beat the shit out of him when two Tokats stand before me. 'You're not going anywhere!' They yelled. 'Christen, can you take Jay to his cel?' The leader asked someone. 'Sure.' A girl said with brown hair and purple eyes. She walked over to me and grabbed my hand. We walked back to the place where I was standing before. There were two doors: A big one what probaly is the door to get outside and a smaller door. We walked over to the smaller door when I kicked the girl in her stomach. She letted me go and fell on the ground in pain. I ran over to the big door and opened is but there was nobody standing guard so I ran outside. 'Get him!' One of the soldiers yelled to some other soldiers. The soldiers began to run to the big door. 'Stop!' The leader yelled. The soldiers stopped and looked to the leader with wondering eyes. 'Why can't we go after him!?' One of the soldiers yelled. 'We can take him any time we want but we could take him with us when we take the crystal because then is everyone in panic in the humans fort.' The Leader said while the soldiers nodded. 'I see you soon, Jay Emaga.' He said.
