You're dead weight

I laid in my bed with Mena beside me. She wanted to make sure that i'm alright so she decided that she would sleep a couple of times with me. We didn't say anything to eachother. First I thought that she had a strange feeling from becoming a couple but when I looked I saw her sleeping. She looked very cute with her brown hair what covered her face. She turned around in her sleep lookin at me. I putted her hair aside and kissed her on her forhead and then I began to smile. 'I just can't believe that i'm the boyfriend of a beautifful girl like that.' I thought. I closed my eyes and began to sleep. The next morning I waked up and I saw Mena still sleeping. I smiled at her then I came out of bed. I putted on my clothes and walked over to the bed. I putted my lips on her cheek. 'Wake up sunshine.' I said with a soft voice. She opened her eyes carefully and began to smile to me. We kissed eachother and then I picked her up making her say and laughing at the same time: Put me down put me down!' I put her down and she began to tickle me under my arms. 'Haha please stop that!' I yelled with tears in my eyes from the fun I had. After some seconds she stopped but we still laughed a time. 'I'm going to change my clothes so you can go downstairs for breakfast.' She said to me. I walked out of the room and closed the door. I walked downstairs and saw Vanessa. 'Hey Vanessa.' I said while she turned around looking at me. 'Jay!' She yelled. She ran to me and hugged me tight so we almost fell off the stairs. 'I heard you came back yesterday but I couldn't believe it.' She said with little tears in her eyes. 'You better believe it or you hugged something what's not here.' I joked making her laugh a little. 'So did Mena tell you the thing she wanted to tell you?' She asked me while I nodded. 'What did you say to her?' She asked me. 'We are a couple.' I said with a smile on my face and closed eyes. Vanessa looked at me with big eyes. 'I'm so happy for you two.' She said. 'Oh your not in the dining room yet.' I heard someone saying so I looked behind me and saw Mena. 'Oh yeah it's time for breakfast.' I said happely and ran downstairs. I heard Vanessa and Mena laughing so I was happy that they did. I walked into the dining room and saw all the people staring at me. I sat down next to Rice and Jean. When everybody was inside, the breakfast came. We all eated when Tyrone suddenly began to talk. 'Everybody, we can happely say that Jay is back to us.' He said causing everyone to stop eating and look to Tyrone. 'Jay may I ask you to come after breakfast to the hall to tell us what happend there?' He asked me. 'S-sure if you want to know that.' I said. Then it was quiet again so we all began to eat again and chat with eachother. After breakfast we all stand up and walked to to the hall. I was standing on the stairs, Tyrone stand in fromt of the stairs and all the others were standing in the middle of the hall. 'Alright Jay, could you tell us what the leader looks like?' He said. 'I couldn't see what the leader looks like because he wores a cloack with a hoodie. I don't know his name either because he didn't wanted to tell me that then.' I said making all the soldiers looking interested to me. 'Do you know where the Tokats are located?' One of the soldiers asked me. 'No I don't know it anymore because I could barely get away from them so I decided to run away as fast as I could so I don't remember it.' I answered making the soldier nod. 'Does anyone got a question for him?' Tyrone asked but no one said a thing. 'Alright then we can go to work again.' He said and all the soldiers walked away making me, Mena, Burik, Rice and Tyrone the only people left in the hall. I suddenly felt a pain through my head so I immidiatly grabbed the side of my head cathing the attention of Mena. 'Jay are you alright!?' She asked me on a loud tone. 'Yeah only my head is hurting a bit.' I said. 'You're such a pussy!' Burik said making me angry and having more pain in the head. 'I'm going to look for some medicine in the office of Jean.' Mena said while running off. Suddenly my head didn't hurt anymore so I wanted to go to Mena to tell her that but Tyrone stopped me. 'I want you to go on a mission Jay.' He said. 'A-alright, could you explain the mission?' I asked him. 'You, Burik and Rice are going to the woods looking for the path you've took yesterday to come back here so we could plan a suprise attack.' He answered while I nodded. 'Alright, take your weapons and go.' He said while walking away. Me, Burik and Rice walked to the weapon room. Rice took a long sword what looked like a Katana but wasn't one. Burik chose two pair of nunchucks. I chose a tiny knife because I didn't know where the gun was and I can't use other weapons. We walked out of the weapon room through the hall and we came outside. We were ready to go when I heard someone yelling: 'You aren't going anywhere!' I looked behind me and saw Mena standing looking angry. 'M-mena, I can take care of myself.' I said and turned back but Mena grabbed my arm making me stop. 'Mena you have to let him go because we need him for this mission.' Rice said. 'Then i'm going with you.' She said while I was in shock. 'Mena you dumbass, you haven't any experience with fighting!' Burik yelled angry. 'Alright if I can't go with you then Jay can't too.' Mena said still holding my arm. Rice sighed and began to talk. 'Alright you can go with us if you're not taking us down.' He said making Mena smile. 'Alright.' She said very happy. She ran inside and after some minutes she came back with a gun. 'Alright we can go now.' Rice said. We began to run into the woods. After some minutes we stopped.'Alright Jay, could you remember how the path looked like?' Rice asked me. 'I only can remember that I was chased by a wolf and I fell from a long hill and then I was stopped because of a tree what was standing in my way.' I said making Rice think. 'You were probaly in zone E, that isn't that far from here.' He said. 'Then we're going to that place to be sure!' Burik yelled while he ran to zone E. 'Alright we're going.' Rice said while he ran off too. We began to ran after them. Some time later we were in Zone E. 'Is this it?' Rice asked me while I nodded. 'I think so.' I answered. We walked a little further when suddenly twelve Tokats were standing in the way. 'Shit Tokats!' Burik yelled. The Tokats ran to all of us so we have to fight. Burik and Rice ran to another side of the hill with eight Tokats following them so we have to fight four Tokats. I grabbed the knife and Mena grabbed the gun. I pushed my knife through a head of one of the Tokats so he would die. I saw that one of the Tokats ran over to Mena and she was scared. Mena pull over the trigger now!' I yelled. She pulled over the trigger but it didn't do anything. I ran over to her and I pushed the knife through the Tokats heart. I grabbed the gun and looked. 'Where are the bullets!?' I yelled in shock. 'I didn't took any with me.' Mena said scared. 'You idiot, now you have no weapon!' I yelled making her more scared then she already was. There were just two Tokats left who we had to fight but Mena's gun hasn't any bullets in it and my knife was stuck in the chest of the dead Tokat. 'Mena, go back to the fort and warn the other soldiers.' I said with a angry voice. She nodded and ran away but she got he attention of the Tokats. 'We're not letting you get away that easily!' One of the Tokats said. He grabbed his gun and pointed it to Mena. Mena looked behind her and saw that the Tokat wanted to shoot her. I ran as fast as I can to Mena. The Tokat pulled the trigger and the bullet was shooted out of the gun. I couldn't make it on time so I jumped before her and the bullet came through my chest. I couldn't believe that I was shot. 'Shit, retreat!' Yelled the Tokat who shooted me. He and the other Tokat ran away making the other Tokats who fighted Rice and Burik ran away too. 'J-j-jay?' Mena said quietly in fear. I fell to he ground and then I fell from the hill all the way down. 'Jay!' Mena yelled while getting the attention of Rice and Burik. They saw me so they ran off the hill followed by Mena. I heard all their voices but not clear. My eyes were began to feel heavy so I closed them.

Mena's POV. I couldn't believe that Jay protected me. I saw all his blood coming out of his wound. I was scared. I saw that Rice putted his head very carefully on Jay's chest. 'His heartbeat sounds weak and it goes slow so we have to get him to Jean as fast as we can.' Rice said while picking Jay up with the help of Burik. 'I'm going ahead.' Rice said while running away with Jay in his arms. 'This is all your fault!' Burik yelled angry to me. He walked off too and I stand alone. I putted my head in my hands and tears began to flow out of my eyes. 'I'm sorry Jay.' I quietly said. 'Burik is right, it is my fault.' I said while more tears came flowing out of my eyes. I letted my hands get away from my head and looked to the ground. I saw so much blood from Jay just laying there. 'Please don't die Jay.' I thought. I walked away the same path as the others.
