I heard the sound of the wind chime the moment I opened the door. This is where we always spend our time. We always study here together. I didn't know that a simple sound of a wind chime can make me feel nostalgic. I didn't even really notice this wind chime. Well not consciously.

"Hi! What's your order?" A girl approached me.

"Can I have a slice of chocolate cake and a hot chocolate drink." I ordered the same thing I always order every time we go here.

"Are you Miss Christine?" She asked.

"Yup. Why?"

"Someone already called and ordered for you." She said and left to get to order. She came back with my fooods.

"Here. She also said to give this to you." She handed me a piece of paper. I smiled wondering how you planned all of this. You must be giving your mom a hard job doing all of these.

Dear Cris,

Let me guess, you ordered a chocolate cake and a hot chocolate drink. I think I know everything about you. Even things that you don't even know about yourself. I feel so proud about that. By the way, do you remember the girl who always got our order? She was supposed to be the one who will hand you those foods and that letter. However, I don't know where she is anymore. I can still remember how much you like that girl. You said, you like how she dressed. You even asked her where she bought her clothes. And do you remember how she thought that we were in a relationship? You were so red when she said that. She also said that we look really good together. Well, we really look good together because I'm so handsome. It's true, don't laugh at me.

Your one and only best friend,

Matthew

I laughed reading his letter for me. So confident with your looks even in your letter. I started eating when a familiar sound played. And a familiar voice too.

The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful

Stop me and steal my breathe

Emeralds from mountains and thrust towards the sky

Never revealing their depth

Tell me that we belong together

Dress is up with the trappings of love

I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips

Instead of the gallows of heartaches that hang from above

I'll be you cryin' shoulder

I'll be love suicide

I'll be better when I'm older

I'll be the greatest fan of your life

I looked at the girl you who gave my order and she just smile. This is my favorite song and my favorite person is singing it. I was still eating when a couple went inside. They were laughing. Smiling to each other. Just like how we used to smile. Just like how you used to hug me every time. That must be the reason why most people think that we are together. That we are on some kind of more-than-a-best-friend relationship. To be honest, that made me wonder. I wonder countless of times why we're still best friend.
