I woke up the next day with the worst hangover imaginable. In fact, the only reason i woke up was because some motherfucker started pounding on my door.

Each bang on the door made it feel like tiny fairies were taking hammers and hitting me over and over again on the head.

I reluctantly got up and went to open the door, while stumbling over to the door I yelled to whoever was on the other side... "Hold on, give me a fucking second".

Maybe I was a bit mean but i was not in the right headspace to be dealing with anyone right now.

I opened the door to reveal someone I definitely didnt expect. Sally was standing at the door, she stood there awkwardly as if waiting for me to let her in.

My expression definitely softened the slightest bit upon seeing her, but i also didn't want to have to deal with her bullshit right now.

"What do you want?" I asked calmly, letting a slight sigh fall from my mouth.

"Hello to you too" she answered with a half-smile. She seemed nervous? I dont know to be honest, knowing her it could just be an act.

"Im serious, what do you want" i spoke blatantly while shaking my head, it was my polite way of telling her... "i dont want to talk to you, please fuck right off"

She walked past me into my room, um... this confused me because as far as I remembered I definitely did NOT invite her in...

"We need to talk" was all she said as she sat on my bed, placing a cigarette between her lips.

"First off, no smoking in here" I say pulling the cigarette from between her plump lips before she could even light it.

"And second, why all of a sudden, after weeks of us pretending the other dont exist, do you wanna talk" i say sitting in the armchair across from my bed.

Usually I'd sit right next to her but I missed her too much that I couldnt trust myself to be that close to her.

"I'm sorry for the way I've been treating you" she spoke while fidgeting with her hands. I've heard that before, but the more I read her body language the more it looked like she meant it.

A moment of silence went by, i continued to watch her. She broke the silence once again.

"I dont expect you to understand, nor do I expect you to accept my apology, I just had to get it off of my chest. The way I've treated you has been horrible."

I laughed and finally spoke, "agreed, but lets face it, we've both been assholes"

"Let me finish" she snapped...
"Sorry, i didnt meant that. I just need you to listen to me (Y/N), I want you to leave the hotel." I couldnt believe what I was hearing.

"It's not safe here, I don't want you to get hurt".

"Excuse me?" I almost shouted. "I am not leaving. God, Sally I am not a child, i can handle myself... and i dont know if this has ever crossed your mind.... but ever since I've got here, the only person that has hurt me is you"

I was fucking fuming. She had no right to treat me like shit for months and then tell me I'm not safe here, like she would even fucking care if anything happened to me here.

She hasnt shown the slightest interest in my safety before, why all of a sudden did she give a shit about my wellbeing?

"Get out Sally" i spoke sternly but quietly. She did as i asked.

I was so confused, but it was clear to me now. As much as I love Sally, what I said was true. She was the reason for all of the pain that I felt. But that never stopped me falling head over feet for her.
