Chapter 41

3 months later...

Your waters break and you wake Tony up. The first thing you thought was that you didn't want to lose the baby. You and Tony head to the hospital and the Midwife told you that you were in labour.

A few hours later, you pushed and the baby came out. There was no crying. You started to cry and Tony hugged you. You were watching the nurses trying to get him to breathe. You say to Tony, "I told you there was something wrong with the baby." He tried to comfort you but at this point you were balling your eyes out.

The nurse comes over with him wrapped in a blanket and says, "Sorry he didn't make it." You hold him. You were sort of screaming. You didn't want to let go of him. He looked exactly like Tony. I gave him to Tony and he was crying. He said, "I love you little buddy, don't worry you will be in a better place now with all the other angels, I love you Arthur." Tony handed him back to you and you cried and said, "My baby sweet boy, don't worry like daddy said you are in a better place, I will always love you and I will always look up at you no matter what."

The nurse took him off you and you both said goodbye. You breakdown in Tony's arms. Bryant was there to take the last pictures. You didn't want to go home without him. You said one last goodbye to Arthur and you went home. You said to Tony, "How are we going to tell them, I just new there was something wrong?" Tony reassured you.

You walk in holding Tony's hand and they say, "Where is Arthur?" You say, "He didn't make it, he passed at birth." They all came up and hugged you. Tony asked where Ondreaz and Addison were. You went up to their room and they said the exact same thing. You tell them and they start to cry.

Lilly was nearly one. It was coming up to Christmas and you wanted it to be special. You had to post something on social media about it. You didn't want to do it yet. You layed in bed and snuggled up to Tony for the rest of the day. Charlotte and Ellie came home and burst into your room. They ask where the baby was and so you explain. They hugged you and cried. You say to Tony, "His middle name would be Levi just like yours." He smiled.

You phoned up a few funeral places for the funeral of Arthur. You got one for next week. You post this on Instagram:

R.I.P Arthur Levi Lopez. You will always be in my heart and I will always love you and look up on you. You were taken away from us on this sad day but you are in a better place and mummy and daddy love you. Sleep tight sweetheart.

You cried whilst posting this. You went downstairs to get something to eat when you heard Lilly cry. You go up to her room and cuddle her. Her cries were so soft it made you cry just knowing that Arthur could've been here. Addison and Ondreaz offered to look after Lilly and Charlotte for a few days.

You lay in bed and snuggled up to Tony and you said, "Goodnight Tony, goodnight Arthur sleep tight my little sweet pea." You fell asleep.

Tony's POV:

When she said 'Goodnight Arthur my sweet pea' it made me cry. I love her and I didn't want her to go through this. I posted this on my Instagram:

Goodnight Baby Arthur Levi Lopez. Mummy and Daddy love you very much and we are stuck for words right now. I hope you heard what mummy said to you then 'Goodnight sweet pea' we love you with all our heart and hopefully we will meet one day. You were going to be a little dancer and even when we first got pregnant with you. We knew there was something wrong but we kept going and now you are in a better place. Goodnight Arthur and rest in peace. We love you so very much. Goodnight baby.

I was tearing up at this. We had the funeral in a week.
