Unexpected

I've always been stressed to approach a girl I liked, that's why I hardly ever did. The rare times when I approached them did not end very well, that is why I abandoned the idea without asking myself too many questions.

A few years ago, in the last year of high school, I met a girl. I didn't pay much attention to it because I only saw her when she was hanging out with my friend's girlfriend. Over time, by dint of seeing her and talking with her, I became unconsciously attached to her. We added ourselves as a friend on different social networks, we talked from time to time, then a lot. Until one evening.

That evening, we had talked on Messenger until 6am, we had not seen the time pass but it was such a magnificent night, I was in heaven. As the night went on, our discussions became deep and we learned much more about each one. It seemed so natural and especially so unexpected, I was in love.

Each morning, we expected each other to enter the school together. It was so good to spend time with someone who understood me, who laughed at my jokes and especially who loved me (I guess). We weren't dating yet, we were on hold. It's so good this waiting at the edge of the cliff of love, we take advantage of it a little more.
I was not the type to skip school but I did it to see her as long as possible. When I was in class, I was very stressed, I needed my dose of this incredible drug that is love.

One afternoon in the fall, I was out of class because my last hour before the holidays was over. She had to finish an hour after me so I waited for her. When I saw her, she was even prettier than usual, she was beaming more than ever. We went to a pretty little place in the schoolyard to spend the last hour before the school closed. We laughed together and we teased each other but deep down, we knew that we were not going to see each other for two weeks. She put her head on my lap and we looked at each other without saying a word. I saw in his eyes, it was like a signal, a signal that meant everything. I started by giving her a kiss on the forehead, it made her smile, I gave her a kiss on the chin and then ... I kissed her. She started to hold me tight while continuing our kiss. Her lips were fiery. I was no longer there, my soul flew to heaven while leaving my body here below. My heart was beating so hard, so hard that I barely felt his beat as much as mine. By the time we stopped, I remembered that we wouldn't see each other for two weeks.
