°Yeji's pov

I walked in to our school and went to my locker and i was distracted by this commotion "Hyobin will you please date me" a girl asked "Yeah please, we promise we'll be good" another girl asked "I'm sorry but I'm already dating someone" He said shyly "With who" the gilr asked and starting to pressure him

"With me" i suddenly said, what am i doing "Yeah.... with her" he played along, the girls scoffed and left "Thank you Yeji" he smiled "No problem, you helped me yesterday" I smiled back, he accompanied me to.my classroom, there i saw y/n looking gloomy for whatever reason

why should i care, he don't even care about me, "Thank you" i smiled to hyobin and so did he, i could see that y/n was looking at us but quickly directed his attention elsewhere, I took my seat and prepared for our class, which is social studies

"Alright class since we are almost done on our lessons, do you want to ask anything, it doesn't have to be about lesson you can ask anything" our teacher said

After a few of my classmates asking random question that i wasnt interested in but a question suddenly caught my attention "Can i ask, what is love" a student asked

"Hmmm, that's a good question, perhaps Mr y/n can answer for us" Our teacher said caughting y/n off guard "Come on, stand here" he said and y/n stood up akwardly and stand infront

"Well um... Love is a show of attachment and affection, and willingness to give them happiness and joy"

"And it doesn't have to be shown by being Couples, it can be shown by friends, family, hell even there pets. Love is something beautiful and sophisticated at the same time, when you got that love you're willing to fight for it to protect it, even if it hurts you" He finished his sentence and subtly looked at me and quickly averted his eyes elsewhere

"Thank you y/n, you may go to your seat" our teacher said, his eyes threatening to fall tears "Alright it seems like its a good time to end it you may be dismissed" he smiled and we thanked him

we carried on with our lesson but I can't seem to focus y/n words just can't get out of my head, after felt like hours the recess bell hit and i went to our school garden

and just sit there feeling the breeze under the tree, then i felt a presence sitting beside me "You know everything he said he ment it" a familiar voice said "I don't care soobin, how would i know if he's just acting to het my sympathy and break me again" I scoffed standing up

"You really think he would do that, after all he has been through, after all the things he sacrifice just for you" He said and i stopped and looked at him "Oh so it's my fault" i said crossing my arms "No, everything happens for a reason"

"You just need to find it"
