HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED/ GOTHAM MERCHANT'S BANK

Bruce made it to the Burnley sewers on the east side of Gotham. once he was at the sewer, tunnel he opens the hatch and climbs down. he takes out a flashlight and looks around to find explosives placed around the sewer tunnels, something wasn't right, as he came to the end of the tunnel that leads to a waterfall he saw some of black mask's men guarding the explodes. "  strange. these are black mask's men. not the kind of guys I'd expect to find running around in the sewers" Bruce glides down and starts to fight them, he dodges and hits them until all of them were knocked to the ground. once he took out a weak wall he found himself in the GCPD telecom room under the GCPD, but he saw more black mask men there watching them plant more explosives to the walls of the sewer" I'm under the GCPD, why are black mask's men planting explosives here? the cops have always been on his payroll". 

he then starts to fight them, then out of now where a big guy in body armor came charging at him, he dodges the attack before blocking a thug's attack from behind. after dealing with him the same thug came charging again but this time Bruce jumps and grabs his neck before falling to the ground making the thug hit his head on the ground and being knocked out by one final punch to the face. Brue takes a minute to calm down before he finally made it to the national criminal database. he placed his pwnbox in the computer, " Catlin, confirm we now have access to the national criminal database" he then turned on the screen on his wrist and saw what evidence was found " connection confirmed. you can now perform DNA analysis. I'm also sending over the police file for the lacey towers case"  Bruce could see all the files of the lacey towers case, but there was one that caught his eye " Catlin, this photo is from the day of the murder. it's a perfect match. the DNA tells more of the story.... but there's something the police overlooked."

Catlin saw what Bruce was seeing, then saw a picture of the Gotham bank " oh why does the bank of Gotham involved in this case?" " because roman sionis owns the Gotham merchants bank,..... and he installed biometric security only he could access". he turned off his screen and started to think if roman sionis is dead, why did Bruce see him tonight, or maybe that wasn't sionis, then something clicked in his head then the body of sionis wasn't sionis was it?.

wait........... that's it. 

Bruce clicks his earpiece " Catlin, I have enough information to solve the lacy towers case" Catlin smiled and sighed, " great, so what happened?" 

" here's what happened" 

by now Gotham P.D. thinks roman sionis is dead - the casualty of a turf war. murdered by the penguin. 

but I know better. 

someone spooked sionis' girlfriend, so he sends her to his safe house - which was anything but safe. sionis showed up later, ready for trouble - and found it, or so it seemed. 

roman's always been paranoid, it's probably why he's lasted this long. he'd send in a decoy- giving himself the element of surprise......but it wasn't enough. there was a fight - sionis lost. the killer didn't hesitate - to shoot the decoy. but he wanted roman alive - to access the cash strode at the Gotham merchants bank. with sionis under control, all that remained was to tie up.

Loose ends. 

but it wasn't the fire that killed sionis' girlfriend. what kind of monster forces a man to kill the ones he loves? The Joker he's the shadow I've been chasing. and now I know where I'm going next.

GOTHAM MERCHANT'S BANK

Bruce starts to leave but before he did he gave Catlin an update on where he was going next, " Catlin, see if you can find any information on someone named 'the joker'" " searching now"  Catlin started typing up on her computer and tries to find anything in the criminal database about this joker person but there was nothing about anyone by that name, " There doesn't seem to be anything coming up, what do you know about him?" she asked him, Bruce sighed and shook his head as he rubbed his eyes abut " not much, but he's taken clack mask hostage". Catlin sat up in her chair " hostage?!, wait so sionis isn't dead then?" she asked him in confusion " I don't think so. from what I can tell, he's worth more to the joker alive. the joker wants to use him to break into the Gotham merchants bank. I'm on my way there now" Bruce started to walk down the sewers towards the exit, but catlin tries to stop him.
