Fernando & Ruby - We found love again.

The beach

It had been a month since Ruby Sheridan had moved to the island of Kalokairi. She helped around in the hotel by doing a performance a day to entertaining the guest and occasionally worked the desk. At home she cleaned and sometimes cooked(when she felt like it).

"Good Morning Gorgeous"

"Good Morning Handsome." She walked over to him and sat on his lap with her arms around his neck. She sometimes woke up and found him sitting next to the balcony reading a book. She loved seeing him read or write. He sometimes wrote her poems or special messages, she found it so romantic and made her fall in love a little more.

She rested her head on his chest slowly letting herself accustom to the rhythm of his heartbeat.

"What do you want to do today? I have the day off and so do you." He asked slowly caressing her hair.

"I want to go to the beach." She simply responded and he agreed with a nod.

"Okay. That's what we'll do. I'll go make breakfast and after we can head to the beach."

"That's....sounds ....amazing."With everytime she paused she gave him a kiss making the last one slow and passionate. "Te amo" She said after they pulled apart and she stood from his lap.

"Yo también. Can you go packing the stuff while I cook.?"

"Of course."

"It's hot." Ruby simply said as she fanned herself with her free hand. Her other was holding Fernando's as they walked down the stairs to the beach.  As they walked down the beach he couldn't help but stare down at any man that looked at Ruby for to long. He couldn't blame them, Ruby was a extremely beautiful woman and did not look her age. To him she was timeless, she was the same woman he had met all those years ago in Mexico.

"We're here." She cheered as she settled on a chair under an umbrella. He slowly watched as she stripped out of her kimono and shorts and was left only with her red  two piece bathing suit.

"Your not going into the water.?" He asked settling next to her.

"Later. But I want you to go in with me."

"I would go with you anywhere."

"Y por eso te amo tanto." She said and moved closer to giving  him a long passionate kiss.

"Yo también te amo mi vida." He moved back to his chair but didn't let go of her hand.

"Fernando I was thinking maybe you could perform with me from time to time. I mean I sing our song but it feels different if your not there with me."

"Of course." He responded and kissed her hand.

They stayed in silence for awhile before Ruby moved her sunglasses to the end of her nose. She had noticed for a while that this man was observing her. She felt how he was undressing her with his eyes, she just hoped Fernando wouldn't notice him or there would be a problem.

She ignored the man and looked over to Fernando. "Let's go into the water."

"Finally." He said with an enthusiastic tone. She loved how his presence alone could make her feel different. Just seconds ago she felt afraid but his presence assured her she would be alright.

She got up holding his hand and walking through the sand. She looked back over to the place where the man was but he was no longer there. She looked for him but was interrupted of her thoughts when Fernando picked her up and threw her over his shoulder.

She let out a yell and laughed as he walked to the water." Stop, Put me down." She repeated when she could catch her breath after laughing.

"Okay." He gently threw her and couldn't help but laugh as she gasped and fell in the water.
