Hi! This is my first ever Ninjago fanfiction, and the first fanfiction I've ever shared. I super hope you enjoy! It's an alternate timeline in which the ninja attend high school; many of the events that have transpired occurred in the series. And yes, the ninja do have their elemental powers :)
EDIT: So I would totally rewrite this book (it's got some good material, but it can be kinda cringy), but I have plenty of other stories to work on LOL A lot of people like it, though, and it's part of my "I Never Knew" Ninjago ship series. I hope you find amusement and joy in reading this <3
I will start each chapter with a song, since it (1)helps explain the unique relationship Jay had with his birth mother, and (2)gives an overview of what the next chapter has in store. Let me know in the comments if you'd like any particular songs to be included! *I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE SONGS I USE. PROPER CREDIT (AUTHOR, SONG TITLE, AND LINK) WILL BE GIVEN AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH CHAPTER!*
Also, this will be clean Jaya romance! :) The characters will kiss, and I may include dark topics (I will provide forewarning if these chapters are included), but I am not going to write anything inappropriate :)
