Chapter 4

Evanjuleene's POV

Did I seriously just agree to going to this luncheon with the one person I completely despise? What on Earth am I thinking...

"Soooooo..." Livi dragged out.

I turned around with the dress in my hand and a shocked expression on my face. I look up at her and gulp.

"Livi... What on Earth did I just do?" I asked her.

Her face turned into one of confusion. "What do you mean?"

"I agreed to go to a luncheon with him tomorrow..." i whispered.

"You WHAT?!?!" she gobsmacked. "OMG! This is sooooo exciting! See I told you he had a thing for you."

"Yeah right! You did, however, say that he would buy me the dress."

"Why on Earth are you so blind, woman? He so likes you! Who would go out of their way to bring you the dress himself?" she questioned with raised eyebrows.

She was 100% right, but I would never admit that to her.

I scoffed and walked into my room. "I'm going downstairs for a few!" I yelled to Livi.

"Okay."

I walk downstairs to loose myself into the life of another.

Hours later, I fall asleep with my head against the pillow supporting my up and with a book pressed to my chest.

I wake up to a loud crash. I abruptly sit up with wide eyes. I look around trying to remember where I fell asleep. I then see my crazy bestfriend sitting on the ground at the bottom of a ladder with books scattered around her.

"Don't. Say. A. Word." she seethed.

I started laughing way too hard for my own good.

"I said not to say anything!" she pouted.

"I didn't. I LAUGHED." I had tears in my eyes.

"Well, stop. Your prince charming is going to be here in less than an hour." she smirked.

That shut me up. I quickly found the clock behind her head. Sure, enough it was 10:45.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!?!" I screamed getting up from my favorite spot.

She just shrugged and waved.

She is so dead when I get home.
