Chapter 2

Practice ended and I called Luke to come pick me up. I was waiting in the front of the school by the doors. I saw Luke's car pull up and I made my way to it.

As I opened the door, I saw a Michael Clifford sitting in the passenger seat. "Sorry love, we're all here. I got shotgun so you get back." he smiled. I closed his door. Calum opened the backseat door and got out, letting me into the middle between him and Ashton.

"Babe you're freezing." Ashton said when my arm touched his. He pulled me into his side and rubbed my arm.

Calum got back into the car sitting next to me. "Damn Bree, how long were you waiting? And why were you outside?" he asked.

"They kicked us out and made us wait outside because they had to lock up." I replied.

"Aw! Poor Bree Bree!" Michael said.

"Mikey don't call me that." I glared at him.

"Sorry, I forgot." he said. I didn't like being called Bree Bree because that's what my ex boyfriend called me. It's not cute anymore.

I looked into the rearview mirror and made eye contact with Luke. He smiled before speaking to Mikey,"Michael, grab that sweatshirt from under your seat and hand it to Bree."

Michael reached under his seat and grabbed a large, dark grey hoodie. He handed it back to Calum. I moved from Ashton's warm body to put it on. I tried taking it from Calum but he ripped it out of my grasp. I gave him a questioning look. He laughed and began to put the hoodie over my head. Everything went black for a moment before Calum tugged the hoodie down onto my body.

"There she is!" Calum said when my head popped out of the head hole.

"Thank you Cal." I said and leaned my head on his shoulder.

My eyes began to feel heavy. Right before I drifted into a sleep a hand moved to my back and started moving up and down.

"Bree, we have to make a stop at Walmart really quick. Do you want to come in with us?" Ashton's voice sounded.

I was too tired to go in. I shook my head no. The car came to a stop. Calum started moving so I sat up.

"It's okay, stay there. Luke is staying with you." Calum said getting out and Luke replacing Calum's spot.

"We won't be gone too long." Michael said taking off with Ashton and Calum.

Luke moved and leaned his back against the door. He spread his legs and patted his chest, gesturing for me to come cuddle. I moved and cuddled into Luke's chest. His arms wrapped around me, catching me in a warm embrace.

Some might think Luke and I were dating, but we aren't. Since Luke is the youngest of the boys, he and I have always gotten along really well. All the boys are like my brothers, they look after me and always take care of me.

"They'll take a while, you can go to sleep." Luke whispered.

"Thank you." slipped out of my mouth faintly before sleep took over me.

I know 'The Beginning' sucked and for an intro/background into a story it's absolutely horrible. But I hope the chapters will make up for it. I got a lot of reads really quickly on the last chapter so I thought I could post another. If you guys are liking it, please comment. Another thing I wanted to say was on my phone, the chapters were messing up a lot. Like sometimes a part of it was missing or wouldn't come up. If anybody is having that problem too, please tell me.
