Just Saying

Chapter 3

"Breanna..." I heard a faint voice speak. "We're home." it spoke again.

I was too tired to open my eyes,"Ya?"

"You're cute when you're tired." The voice said again and I finally came back to reality to realize it was Luke.

I had enough energy to look up at him and open my eyes. He looked down at me and smiled, which in return I smiled back. A soft chuckle came from him and a pair of arms snaked around my back and under my legs. With a swift movement, my body was lifted bridal styles. I wrapped my arms around Luke's neck as he carried me inside.

"Bright lights!" I said as a white light took over my vision. I nudged my head into Luke's neck to reduce the light.

"I always knew you were a vampire!" I heard Michael.

"Ya? Well you have no room to talk. You're so damn pale and you never come out of your room." I snapped.

"Ouch." He replied.

Luke set me down on the couch and sat to the left of me. Now that my eyes had adjusted to the light, I could see clearly. I looked behind me into the kitchen to see Ashton with a 6-pack of Cokes and Calum with a large bowl of popcorn.

"Cal! I don't like popcorn." I whined.

"We know, we got these just for you." Ashton said while throwing me a box of Reece's Pieces.

"Yay!" I cheered,"You guys are the best!"

"We know."Michael butted in again and plopped down to my right.

"Hey! Make room, we have to fit all of us on here." Ashton whined.

Luke grabbed me and rested me on his lap. Michael moved next to Luke and layed my legs on his. Next was Calum and Ashton on the end. Ash grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. He switched the input to 'DVD' and previews for movies began to play.

"What are we watching?" Luke asked, the same question in my mind.

"The Possession." Calum grinned.

"It's not even that good of a movie." I informed Calum.

"I don't care, maybe I'll like it."

"And I haven't seen it." Michael said. I rolled my eyes, I'll watch it anyway.

I don't mind scary movies too much. But movies like The Possession or Paranormal Activity freak me out because I believe in ghosts. The first time I watched The Possession was in theaters with my friend Emily. I honestly missed most of it because I was constantly covering my eyes. I think it's just scarier in theaters.

About one third of the way through the movie, the boys and I had moved closer to each other. I knew what part was coming up, it's where the fingers show up in the girl's mouth. I prepared myself for the scene. Just as the scene started, a pair of hands jabbed my sides. I screamed in response.

"Fuck Luke!! You scared the shit out of me!" I turned to yell at the laughing boy.

"Hey! Don't swear!" Ashton said.

"Shutup." I smacked Luke's arm and turned my attention back to the movie. I looked over to see popcorn spilt everywhere.

"Calum what did you do with the popcorn?!" I asked.

"Ashton tried to scare me and I jumped a bit." He replied trying to sound like he hadn't gotten scared.

"Luke and I scared you guys at the same time." Ashton said, giving Luke a high-five.

"You didn't scare me!" Calum took a handful of popcorn and threw it at Ashton.

"This is a new shirt! Don't get popcorn and butter on my new shirt!!" Ashton yelled.

I giggled at the childish boys. A few pieces of popcorn came flying at me.

"Hey! What'd I do?!" Luke yelled.

"You're sitting with Bree and she laughed at me." Ash said.

"Well don't hit me." Luke replied. I laughed again, but I really don't know why. I think I just found the way they were acting amusing.

"Stop laughing!" Michael said while tickling my sides.

I laughed harder,"It doesn't help when you're tickling me!"

Michael stopped so I could catch my breath. Once I could breathe again I took my chance, grabbing the black SnapBack off Michael's head and running upstairs with it.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" I heard an annoyed Michael yell from downstairs. He sounds pretty serious, I hope he doesn't mind me taking it a bit further...
