KARA's POV...

I look at my watch

1:28 am

Another night

A night full of silence and stars that shine through those dark clear clouds, cold breeze that bumps against my cheeks while a shivered down spine.

I held my cardigan around my body as I sit alone to this grass alone outside

"Why are you here alone at this kind of time?" a voice behind me said

"I can't, I like to spend my sleepless night looking at the sky and how about you? can't sleep too?" I answered honestly then look at her

"Same answer" she sat beside me

I can feel her eyes on me even my eyes were staring up the moon that shows half of it

"Have you to talk to Alex?"

"I've talk to her earlier but not about what happened on the cliff, maybe tomorrow" there was a full silence between us waiting that one of us will say something

"When you’re feeling down just remember stars don’t shine without darkness" She said

"A person who walked in darkness have seen the great light, its you" I whisper the last part

"I heard that" she giggles, it was a song to my ear, I then stared at her eyes it's hipnotizing me there is comfort and you can see the replica of universe

"Your eyes, where moonlight touches your iris. It glows like a classy kryptonite" I said softly then she smile at me

"Damn, why are you being poetic in this late time" she complain

"This is me special I'm talking to a beautiful girl and she's beside me, I need to impress her"

"You don't to impress me, I like you the time I laid my eyes on you" I was stunned because of what she said as I blush visibly

"awee you're so cute when you blushin" she look at me while chuckling

"Let's get to know each other" she added as she laid her head on my hips and look at me

"y-yeah sure, We will ask questions then we both answer it" I suggest while I start playing the strand of her hair

"I'll go first" said Lena

"What do you miss about being a kid?"

"I don't really have the best childhood" I answered with lowest voice, I hope she still hear that.
I couldn't help but feel my emotions.

"Me neither"

"Next question, it might get to sad topic" Although it was dark, her face was perfectly lit. I could see her perfeclty jawline, cute pointed nose and soft pink lips

"Oh okay, I have a question. What makes you happy?"

"Living normal with the important people in my life with no lies"  She looked so content and I couldn't help stare at her so I leaned up and gave her a small kiss on her forehead.

"how about you?" She lightly breathed out and shift a little bit that made her look completely adorable.

I looked up at the sky. The moon was high and the stars are perfectly lined

"I focus on the present, Im actually thankful that I was given a second chance to live sadly without my real parents" then I look down her and kisses her forehead again this time it was twice

"Keep kissing my forehead like that" She demand while grinning before adding a question

"What happened to them?"

"They were burned in fire, brutal right? what happened to yours?" I said full of emotions

"You don't know the stories about Luthors ?" her face lit up with confusion

"I know about the Luthors and most of the people actually make them look like a really bad people I won't believe anyways but here I am talking to a Luthot. I won't waste my chance to know you, I mean the real you by your name Lena not by your family name" I said truthfully and with confidence making her tear up a little but she still keep the sweet smile on her lips

"You're the first stranger told me something like that"

"I'm Kara for a reason not just a Danvers"

"Alex is judgemental person sometimes but is in the right place and time, she is really the opposite of you"

"I learn so many things from her even I'm just adopted and she treat me like shit before"

"Typically Alex, wait you said your adopted?" I nod and facial turns into curiously

"anyways, what’s your ideal weekend?" I asked to change the topic. I might say further things that shouldn't be said

"Sleeping or inventing something useful" she shrug

"You're a real genius"

"said it to yourself" she exclaimed

"Why'd you ask? are you taking me out this coming weekend" her gaze fell into me

"umm- yeah sure, I'll love to date you" I said but not in seconds I realize what I told her that made my eyes wide and my jaw drop

"I-I m-mean--"

"Sure I'll to go out with you on a date Danvers" she giggles and stand up to leave before that she gave me a cute wink
