He runs a Fortune500 Company for Pharmaceuticals in Palmetto. And is my ticket from under Mister Bass thumb. See one thing Mister Bass likes is control and hidden agendas. "Yes I reviewed your resume myself and you have the bullet points but you have never worked or shall I say exercised your degree. Don't get my wrong I see you are the owner of a chain of Barbershops but that is child's play. A Fortune500 company is The Big Leagues. However, my Dad liked your confidence to make a bid as his partner and he wants to give you a trial run" Caroline stated as the waitress walked over and sat the Calamari Tower down in the middle of us.

"explain this trial run?" I asked as if I didn't already have Q scoping out RoganEnterprises. Its Duncan Rogan's smaller company that specializes in car parts.

"My Father also owns a smaller company in Palmetto dealing in selling car parts and he wants to make you the CEO. The bid has risen as he has allowed a few others to make a play for it. His focus needs to be all on RoganPharm. Now the bid is now at 20 Million Dollars."

"Check, Cash, or wiring." I Stated as she coughed and grabbed a piece of Calamari. She chuckled and told me, "Slow down tiger. If you are interested. He is having a Gala for all interested parties this coming Saturday. Bring A Date. Ill txt you the details. Now if you can excuse me I need to freshen up." Caroline told me as she slid her chair back and walked off in her red bottoms. I picked up my phone and dialed up Q. He picked up after two rings and stated, "How is the meeting going?"

"Great. I got an Gala this weekend where I meet Duncan and seal this deal. As we expected he has a bid for CEO of his car part company..which is exactly where we need to start. This is a big move Q."

"And I got you 100 percent. Seal that deal man." Q told me as I replied, "If I get CEO of this company we will be able to get from under Mister Bass AND expand our drug world. Ill be my own boss."

"Its up from here. Aye Im in the gym let me hit you later." Q told me as he hung up and I placed my phone down. I looked around and saw a familiar face sitting down at the bar. I rose up and slowly walked across the carpeted floor. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around.

"Deuce? What are you doing here?" Kareem asked as he stood up and we hugged. He chuckled and said, "Celebrating. My mom and I just came from her Oncologist" my eyes stretched wide and he smiled and then continued, "She is in remission. The cancer is gone. He wants her to do one more round of the drug but she is officially cancer free."

"Woah. Thats fucking great! Where is she?" I asked him as I looked around and stated, "In the bathroom. I am just so relieved." Kareem smile has been nonexistent ever since Cory died so its great to see him smiling.
