I was sick to my stomach. I had just left the hospital, and I'm walking these streets looking for Gabi and Melanie. It's a bad idea to be out by myself at this time of night, but what choice do I got? King and Melvin done gone M.I.A, Q's sitting with Bishop at the hospital, and Mike's there too.

Mike. I get the urge to vomit when I remember all of what I saw.

*flashback*

Turning down to look at Michael, she snaps her fingers, and two more men come in to restrain me. She steps over to Michael and presses her heel into his chest, keeping him on the floor.

My stomach drops as Angel takes her gun and points it right in between his eyes. "I guess if I want the job done right, I got to do it myself."

I struggle against the other assassins, but it was no use. "MIKE, NO!"

Angel cocks her gun, and Michael shuts his eyes, almost looking as if he's giving up.

But then, almost too fast for me to see, Randy jumps up from his spot on the floor and knocks the back of Angel's knee, making her stumble. The gun goes off and hits Michael in the shoulder, but he keeps moving as if nothing hit him.

What Randy did gave Michael an opening, and as the other assassins drop me hard on the ground and run after him, he fights them both at the same time.

I'm frozen in my spot on the ground. I can already feel bruises forming on my temple, but that is the least of my worries right now.

I watch as Michael damn near turns into Bruce Lee, jabbing and kicking the guys so fast my eyes started to hurt from trying to follow his moves. He even got shot, and is whooping ass as if nothing happened. I admire him even more, if that's even possible at this point.

I snap out of it once I hear Michael yell out in pain after one of the guys kicks the spot on his shoulder where he was shot at. Then Angel knocks Randy out with the back of her gun, and he falls limp on the ground. Michael moves to help him, but Angel has her gun pointed right at him, stopping him in his tracks.

"You niggas stay being a thorn in my side!" She says, but then smirks. "You won't be standing for long with that shoulder, Maverick, so I suggest you not get cocky. I guess it could be a blessing in disguise."

Another shot. Michael yells out even louder in pain when Angel shoots in the same spot as before. She might've hit an artery, because the blood coming out of his shoulder now was way too much more than just any other gun wound. Spots of blood splatter on my face, but still, I'm frozen. And Michael's still standing.

"Just to make sure you won't be following." Angel chuckles. "Let's be out."

With that, Angel and her assassins leave out of the front door, one of them carrying Randy with him. Michael goes to follow, but grunts with the movement.

I finally move into action and stand up from the floor. "Mike, you need to take it easy!"

He turns around as if just realizing I was there, then smiles. "You're all okay then... that's good..." Michael breathes heavily, and he starts to get dizzy.
