Just imagine that it's like a couple centuries back where all the nations were still children and some of the ancients were still alive. Now imagine the ancients singing lullabies with their children sleeping around them, like they're all huddled close. China and the Asian countries, Scandinavia and the Nordics, Rome with his colonies, turkey with the other countries. All cute and fluffy right?
Now imagine a small England singing to himself in his forest all alone because Britannia left and all his siblings don't really care about him. So there's tiny England all sad and alone while trying to sing to himself like he heard the other nations do to their children. And then he starts hearing someone else singing and he looks up to see France, Prussia, Spain and Portugal all coming towards him with food and blankets in their arms. And they all huddle up with tiny England and Prussia wraps them all up in blankets and Portugal is hugging England and Spain and France is singing the lullaby with everyone humming along. And then tiny England smiles and starts crying because this felt so right and he's just a small nation who needed to be reminded that he wasn't alone and that its okay to ask for something so important to humans. Warmth was all he needed.
Now imagine the present time with the same four people all huddled up in England's garden, Prussia's wrapping them up in blankets again, Portugal is hugging England close and France is singing the very same lullaby, even though England and Spain are on slightly bad terms and the frog is there they all still huddle up together just to feel the warmth of one another because even nations needed to be reminded the love of family here and there.(Bonus if you imagine England and his colonies all huddled up together with England singing a lullaby to them)
