Prologue
Arden Guevarra is a blithe and amiable person who has a sanguine personality but behind all that positive characteristics, her life is rather tough, trying to balance studies and her three part-time jobs.
An unknown benefactor sends her and her mother an ample wealth but they refuse to use the money because of being uncertain of what will happen after consuming the riches and being unsure if that's for them. After mom's sudden death, her state of life became more complicated.
Grey Fuente an apathetic and unresponsive person with phlegmatic personality but a progressive and successful young man who appears to be the suitable gentlemen to be trusted by Mr. Galvantes, the unknown father of Arden who is also their benefactor.
Before Mr. Galvantes died, he requested Grey to introduce Arden as the heiress of his estates and properties.
I'm just an average person who thinks life is a battlefield where you should keep fighting inorder to keep it. Life for me is toilsome and arduous eventhough I receive great oppurtunities and helping hands.
Time comes where I'm only pretending to be brave, faking emotions, and wearing a mask but that's the moment where you showed up and reveal a world that I didn't even dream of. That's where everything started and became more burdensome.
You have to grant a wish that made me sink instead of helping me get up. I just realize life isn't easy, whether you're affluent or penniless.
