Quiet mornings like this were always the best way to start the day, sun leaking into the room through the blinds. A perfect day to spend under the covers. The warm embrace of his lover behind him, unfortunately, all good things don't last forever when the perfect atmosphere was ruined by the annoying screeching of his alarm clock beside him.
David shuffled under the covers with a groan, reaching over to his bedside table and feeling around for the off button on the top of the clock, not bothering to lift his face from the pillow. Work could wait an extra 5 minutes, he turned and got comfy again, face buried in his lovers chest, Daniel shuffled a bit, now half awake from the alarm clock. He yawned and combed a hand through David's hair "David you can't just ignore work...c'mon, it's time to get up.." He sat up, nudging David to get up, David mumbled something, then buried himself deeper in the covers. Daniel smiled "David, Mr.Murray wasn't too happy last time you were late.." he tried again, this time nudging david a little harder, getting up from the bed, stretching his arms above his head, David whined, pulling him back down "mm...warm..." He yawned
Daniel rolled his eyes "Alright enough messing around" He grinned and scooped David up, David let out a little yelp of surprise, clinging to Daniel as he twirled him. Daniel smiled softly, lifting him up more and pecking a kiss to David's lips, or at least tried to. David put a hand on Daniels mouth before he kissed him, Daniel raised a brow "Now what's that for?" he frowned "mm..conequensenses for forcing me up" David answered and pressed a kiss atop Daniels nose before slipping out of his grasp and heading down stairs. Daniel huffed and smiled, following him "a bit unfair don't you think?" He asked, David shook his head "You can make it up to me with some coffee" He requested, Daniel grumbled "Something else?" He asked, stopping at the kitchen. "Coffee~" David repeated and entered the bathroom, shutting the door behind him and starting a shower. Daniel rolled his eyes and chuckled a bit under his breath "Coffee it is.."
