Cole and I were making lunch in the penthouse when I felt sparks where Peter's soulmark was and I started looking around frantically. Steve walked into the kitchen and shook his head, the door and scratched the back of his neck, "Hey, Marz, Cole..." Cole turned off the burner and grabbed my waist, "no. No." I huffed and tried to pull away, "but why?! I want to murder him! Let me murder him!"
Peter hid behind Clark and poked his head out from around Clark's side, "uh, i-I uh i was uh..." I started trying to pull away from Cole more, "I'm going to skin him alive! Let me at him!" "No! You can't kill your soulmate." I huffed and pouted, "but Cole, I really want to and then there's no competition for my time-." Peter cut me off, "Cole! Bro, we're friends! Don't let her at me!" I smirked evily, "oh no please let me at him." Peter huffed, "Maria, I swear it's not what you think-." "It's not what I think? That's what your choosing to say right now. Cole, if you don't let me go right now you'll be the next one on my hit list." Cole froze and loosened his arms slightly when Peter butted in again, "Marz, I swear it's not what you think it is-." I laughed darkly, "you all might want to hide him."
All my dads, moms and siblings sighed but slowly hid peter from me. Cole huffed, "Luca, do you mind trading me out?" Luca gapped, "excuse me? You want me to hold my obnoxious little sister back from strangling her soulmate who cheated on her? No thanks." Everyone looked between peter and I. Echo sighed and walked over to me and whispered, "Marz, maybe you should here him out..." I glared at my brother, "I want to punch him in the face right now."
Luca sighed and looked to Morgan who was sitting on the floor with a bowl of popcorn. Everyone looked down at her. She raised an eyebrow, "why are you interrupting my show? That's rude." Luca sighed and shook his head, "let's go." She huffed, "but Luca! I've been waiting to see this for months!" Luca rolled his eyes, "and I really don't care. Let's go." She huffed, "no." He raised an eyebrow, "wow, have I mentioned I hate the preteen stage." She stuck her tongue out at him, "have I mentioned how annoying you can be." He rolled his eyes. Echo shrugged, "I'll carry you into the living room." She huffed, "fine!" Luca raised an eyebrow at echo, "how-?" He rolled his eyes, "dude, you let her get away with anything."
Luca crosses his arms, "I do not." Echo rolled his eyes, "yeah, you do." Peter chuckled, "it's kinda how tony was with Marz and Morgan." I huffed, "don't you dare bring my father into this. He would be extremely disappointed in you. Do you know how many times we would stay up all night talking about you? How much he thought of you as a son? He would be so beyond disappointed if he were here-." "Good lord! I didn't cheat on you!" "That girl was all over you!" "Exactly! She was all over me! Not the other way around! 6 months you've been avoiding me because you misinterpreted the entire thing! Maria, your my soulmate. My only soulmate. I would never hurt you intentionally especially like that. Cole and I have been waiting all these years why would we walk away now? When we finally get to have you as our soulmate and not have to keep distance between us. Why would I cheat on you?" I looked down, "I was there for five minutes, you were flirting with her before that..." he shook his head, "I promise, it wasn't like that. She's in one of my classes and we had a partner protect together... I told her I had a soulmate and she still pushed herself on to me. Maria, you are my life."
I heard Morgan yell, "don't fall for it! it's a typical Tony Stark line! He probably got it out of one of dads play books!" I heard Luca huff, "Morgan, I told you to get away from the door. It's none of our-." "Hush." "Excuse you." "Shh! I'm listening." I rolled my eyes, "Morgan, you and Luca were there. What did you see?" Morgan throw open the door and smirked, "ha! See I'm important I hold valuable information." Luca groaned, "Maria, why?" I shrugged, "I'm trusting her." She crossed her arms, "when you and Luca walked off I decided to watch a little longer... see what his reaction would be-." Peter smiled. Morgan gave him a weak smile, "he pulled away smiled nicely to her and continued to write on what ever they were doing. I don't know it's pete, he's awkward so to her she could of been reading mix signals-." "Excuse you. I am not that awkward."

I rolled my eyes, "Morgan, I want your honest opinion and advice, what do you think I should do?" She shrugged, "maybe mom or Liz are better people to ask." I shook my head, "you know peter and I better then most people do. I want your opinion. What should I do?" She sighed, "honestly?" I nodded. She looked up at peter and back at me, "I think you ignoring him for 5 months just about crushed him and as angry as you are right now that it took him 5 months to realize what happened and get there guts to talk to you about it... wow I really can't believe I'm trying o help that idiot...-." "Morgan!" Peter and Luca both were looking at her with irritated looks. She shrugged, "I think you should forgive him. I think we've all been a little off especially after the anniversary and the fact that it's your birthday in a few weeks and you always think about dad more which is making you more emotional. If you really want my advice it would be to forgive him... if there's something you should have learned form what happened is that you can't take life or the ones you love for granted. Because they can be gone at any moment from a blip or because of death or obviously other causes in our family but that's not the point..." She gave me a serious look, "you already know what dad would say so don't even ask." I sighed, "fine. I will forgive you." Everyone sighed I'm relief.
