Time skip- they are in the hospital, it's still a flashback
3rd person POV
As the two heroes made it to the hospital, they met the police detective and good friend of All Might, Naomasa Tsukauchi. He greeted them as they made it into the establishment.
"I got your call! What happened?"
"We found this baby abandoned in an alleyway, so we brought her here. We called you because we didn't know what to do and figured you'd know since you're part of the police," answered All Might.
"Ah! I see... well before we do anything let's get her checked up on, we don't know how long she's been in the alley and any of her medical history, so she needs an examination, to make sure she's vaccinated, and of course, to make sure she's healthy. I'll explain the rest to you while she's getting checked."
They were ushered into an exam room and the infant began her examinations and got the doctors took some of her blood to be tested and to figure out her identity and medical history.
As they were waiting in the next room, Tsukauchi explained what would happen to the baby. (I don't actually know what happens so just pretend that they had a serious conversation) They eventually concluded that one of them would just adopt her.
They all walked over to the hospital crib (I'm assuming they have cribs for babies since they shouldn't be sleeping in beds yet) where the little baby was. A nurse came up to them holding a clipboard, wearing a concerned look.
"Excuse me, but we now have the background check of the baby. It turns out that we don't have any info on the baby's name and birth date (they do know that you were born the year before tho) for whatever reason, but we did find her medical history. Her parents were missing as of two days ago. However, going off the baby's health check and examinations, she seems to have been left in that alley for about one day. It's quite a miracle that she survived that long at that young of an age. She somehow has all the shots and vaccines needed for her age group, so she is pretty healthy. I heard that one of you will be willing to adopt her, so I have some booklets and information for the parent-to-be since having a child is a lot of responsibility. I guess I'll let you decide."
"Alright then! Thank you so much! I'll find you if I have any questions, but I need to talk to these two," All might said, brandishing his toothy smile.
"Thank you, I'll be at the reception if you need me. Goodbye!" The nurse bowed her head and left the room.
"So. I don't know which of us can take her since we're all very busy with our work. However, you, Eraser Head, do mostly underground operations, and are rarely on patrol. So I think you should take her," Tsukauchi said.
"Hmmmm... I don't know... I don't have much experience with children, but those booklets might help. But what happens when I'm on dangerous missions, and when I'm on patrol? I cant just bring her with me! I would never want to put her in danger."
"You're very right... I cant take care of her because I do A LOT of life-threatening missions, being the symbol of peace and all."
"Oh wait! I just got a great idea! What if we all raise her, along with all the other heroes? There's bound to be one of them free when we're busy. Not to mention Midnight has always wanted to take care of a baby! I think she would be glad to help! And I think Endeavor has some kids so he might want to help (I'll do a little story about this later), also Nezu has always had a soft spot for children, being a headmaster and all," Tsukauchi added excitedly, "And just maybe, when her quirk manifests, and when she is old enough, we can train her to be the BEST HERO EVER- no offense Toshinori."
"None taken! I say that's an excellent idea! I'll call them all and tell them our plan. I think they'd all be thrilled. But we've forgotten the most important part!"
"What's the most important part?" Aizawa said, slightly disinterested
"Did you not hear what the nurse said?" He paused for a reply but they all just stared at him blankly, "Ok, gosh, she said that she didn't have a NAME. We need to give her a name!"
"Oh yeah, so... what's her name going to be?"
"Geez Tsukauchi, liven up a little! This is so exciting! I've been thinking about it ever since the nurse said, and I really can't choose! And since it seems that you don't really care, Tsukauchi, I think it should be up to Aizawa, especially since he was the one who found her... what do you think?"
"I mean, sure I guess... I'll have to give it more thought though, so give me a few minutes."
All Might walked off with Tsukauchi to get the info booklets and to call all the heroes. Aizawa simply turned towards the baby and started walking in her direction. When he got to the side of the crib, he looked down at her little face.
"So you've got no name yet, huh? Well let's see..." the baby just gurgled and cooed, staring up at him. "How about..... hmmmmm...." he then locked eyes with the baby after a few minutes. "How do you like y/n?" The baby giggled a little and clapped her little hands, "yeah, I'll call you y/n." He smiled softly and picked y/n up. He started humming into the infant's ear, and she slowly closed her eyes, drifting off into a deep sleep.
