payton gets up and puts a shirt on. he goes to open the door.
CK | here i got these last night but my mom made me drive home.

you yell from the bed.

payton closes the door and lays at the end of the bed.
P | we have to get ready.
you pull all the blankets over you.

you call CPS and set up a meeting place and time. after a few hours it's time to go. you grab all your stuff and take it to payton's car.
P | she said Harley's Diner right?

payton puts it into the GPS it's a 5 minute drive. when you get there payton steps out of the car and goes around to open your door. you sit there.
P | are you ready?
y/n | i don't know.
P | come on. i'll be there with you.

P | hey it's 12:45 you need to take your medicine.

you pull them out and take one. you eventually go in with payton and you see who you expect is the CPS worker sitting at a table alone.
P | hey are you Brittany?
Brittany (B) | yes we talked on the phone.
they shake hands and she reaches her hand out to you. you stall then shake it.

y/n | no it's okay. my parents were happily married for years even though my mom worked in the military mostly overseas. we saw her once or twice a year. she missed a lot of holidays and birthdays but it didn't affect me. i still loved her. one day she came home and i ran up to her but my dad just stared. she went to hug him but he pushed her away. mom started to come home more often. my parents yelled at each other for hours. i sat and cried in my room. but every night for years my dad would sit in my room with me and tell me everything would be okay until i fell asleep. my mom started sleeping on the couch she would come home at late hours and sleep for days. she would disappear for weeks and we wouldn't know where she went. then my dad got fired from his job. my parents fought for hours. after that my mom didn't come back. then they got a divorce. we packed up and left our house after my dad got a new job...online. then he brang a girl home years later they got married. that was Syd my Stepmom but i consider her my mom. we moved out of minnisota to a house in North Carolina met a bunch of friends i graduated then she took me from my dad to her crack house. she doesn't buy food she spends her money on drugs and alcohol. she leaves with no trace for weeks. then the other day i got diagnosed with a severe case of anxiety for the separation of me and my father and she told me i was faking and tried to take my prescriptions for herself.
