you enjoy your meal. it feels amazing to be home with the people you love. you get up to leave you fix payton's tie and hold on to the crook of his arm on your way out. you drop payton off at home. you catch up with your parents the rest of the drive home. you change out of your dress and shower. you throw on one of payton's hoodies and a pair of his sweats. you curl up into bed and watch a movie. payton calls. you fall asleep with him on the phone. when you wake up you look at your phone and see payton eating cereal in his kitchen.

P | good morning beautiful! i'm coming over around 2 today.
y/n | ugh it's only 10, can you come sooner.
P | i have to go clothes shopping with my dad. he's making me because he's mad i gave all my clothes to you,
y/n | you can have them back. i'm home.
P | no it's okay. i want you to have them.
y/n | Austyn is coming again today.
P | oh when.
y/n | in an hour or so.
P | okay i'll be there around 2 okay baby.

you go and make avocado toast in the kitchen. Jacob walks in am rushes over to you.
J | i'm sorry sweetie you need me to help you?
y/n | no it's okay. i actually like cooking and baking a lot. i didn't get to do it with my mom.
J | are you sure.
y/n | of course! you deserve a break anyway.

you you finish making it and sit down and talk to payton on the phone. he eventually leaves with his dad. you hear a knock at the door and jacob gets it. you listen to see who's at the door.
J | what can i help you with.
girl | is she home?
J | yes follow me.
you turn around to see who it is. right when you see you drop your stuff and hop out of your chair and run full speed at her. she opens her arms for a hug and you nearly knock her over.
girl | hey y/n!
y/n | omg hey charli. i missed you so much!
Ch | i'm so glad your home.
you look at her and realize how much you missed her.
Ch | so what were you doing over here?
y/n | i just finished eating.
Ch | ooo fun.
y/n | fr. you want to go swimming.
Ch | you have a pool?
y/n | in that room over there.
Ch | i didn't bring a suit.
y/n | you can borrow one of mine.
you go upstairs and put on this suit.

and give charli one. you grab towels and dive in. you mess around in the pool for an hour or so. then you sit in the hot tub for a few minutes. you go upstairs and shower. you change into your clothes for the day.
