they talk with your father and get his consent to continue. he wishes you luck then you hang up. you swear in then you sit as the judge explains the case. your mom is spaced out you doubt she has listened to a word the judge said.

Judge | so sarah is it true that you left your daughter at home for a trip to the Bahamas with some man you met the day before?

mom | uh yeah i went to the bahamas. Ali's house was nice.

Judge | when did you tell your daughter about this.

mom | uhhh i don't know?

Judge | have you ever smoked weed?

mom | oh yeah. just this morning.

Judge | you know we can't take you to jail just for telling us that.

mom | yeah i don't care anymore. i don't want anything with my ex husband's blood in my house. he is full of himself and i'm sure she's just the same. so take her. she has just been an obstacle for me she just gets in the way. i only took her to piss her and my ex husband off. i was high as hell when i went to get her. i picked a fight then left. now they are both suffering. that's all i wanted.

she walks up signs the paper and goes to walk out.

Judge | but that's not all. we will be arresting you for use of illegal use of marijuana & be searching your property.

mom | you son of a bitch. i didn't give you permission for any of that.

she starts kicking and resisting arrest.

mom | i hate all of you! you all can go to hell!!

police officer | calm down ma'am.

they take her away. you look around at the
room. the judge closes the case and gives you permission to go home. your speechless. time has stopped. all your friends gather around you and brittany gives you a hug. you're in disbelief.

P | you coming home with me baby.

y/n | i'm coming home with you. IM COMING HOME WITH YOU!!!

P | yeah you are!

you jump into payton's arms. he spins you around. you hear him sniffle. you look down at him.

P | yeah. i finally get to bring my baby girl home.

you wrap your arms around him again. he puts you down and you hug brittany and thank her. you give all your friends hugs and you are happier than ever. you drive home with payton. you and payton sing old songs at the top of your lungs. when you get to the hotel you grab your things and load them into the car. now you have to say goodbye to your friends.

you say goodbye to everyone. when it gets to tony payton gets a little protective.
