two days pass. now it's the day you meet with Brittany (your CPS worker) again. you meet at the same cafe. you get out of the car. payton grabs your hands.

you hug him tight then walk inside. you see brittany sitting at a table inside. you sit at the table.

B | hello! it's great to see you guys again. after talking it over with my boss she requested going to look at where you live. your hotel you are renting now. pictures of your dads house. we will drug test your mom. but we don't want to make her mad or draw attention to the situation so we need you to get a urine sample secretively and get it to us within 24 hours.

you talk with her for awhile then you drive to your house. your moms car isn't in the driveway. you go inside and get photos of the house.

y/n | if she's gone she is probably high or drunk right?

y/n | you put a bowl in the bowl then catch it and give it to CPS.

you hear a car pull up the driveway. payton looks out the window and nods at you.

P | yes!

you grab a bowl and put it in her toilet. you go to your room and shut the door. she walks in and sits down on the couch. you leave your room with payton.

mom | y/n?! what are you doing here?

she was very drunk.

y/n | i was just going to get food with payton.

mom | can you grab me some wine. i'll be right back.

she walks right into the bathroom. you give payton a high five.

P | worked like a charm!

she comes back and and you go in and collect it. then leave. you drop it off and they thank you. you send brittany the photos of your moms place and your dads place. you just have to go to your hotel and send photos of there. when you do she takes them to a judge. you lay on your bed while payton packs up.

P | i'll be back.

y/n | where do you want me to stay.

P | here.

y/n | alone?

P | stay here with your friends. just not that tony guy.

y/n | *laughs* okay.

you get up and grab one from your bathroom. you swallow it then lay back down and talk to payton.
