His eyes turned incredibly soft, he went down to her level and she hid behind me, he frowned

"Ilayda?" he called out to her, she stayed grabbing onto my shirt

"Ilayda, Its me Jeongmin, Im your oppa" he said putting his arms out to see if she would hug him, she shook her head

"Aniyo, my oppa doesn't look like you" I frowned, she didn't recognize him

"Unnie, why is he lying to me" she cried out. Her voice sounded betrayed

"Ani Ilayda, this is Jeongmin, he is your oppa" she shook her head even more

"My oppa doesn't have writing on his arms or pink hair, my oppa is clean and has brown hair, my oppa left me and my umma he didn't want to be with us" she said pulling on my shirt more and shaking her head

I looked at jeongmin and he looked at me we were both frowning, he looked at her again,

"Ilayda, I promise to you that I am your oppa and I didn't want to leave you guys, I kind of had too" his voice was soft as she continued to shake her head and hide behind me, her grip on my shirt only got tighter, I could tell her knuckles were probably turning white.

"Aniyo! Unnie!" She pulled even more forcefully and I just gave him a pair of sad eyes she looked at him again, he sighed and looked back up. he began to sing what sounded like a lullaby,

I looked down at her and her eyes went wide, she slowly walked in front of me

"Oppa" she said walking into his arms, he hugged her and from what it looked like it was a really tight hug and she was hugging just as tight. It felt good to see him this happy after so long.

He let go of her and cradled her face "Im not gonna let anything separate us again arraso?" she just nodded and hugged him again, he picked her up and then looked at me. She had her arms around his neck and was resting her head on his shoulder.

"I brought food" I said trying to lighten the mood, he smiled and walked aside to let me in,

I set the food on the table,

"Are Donghyun oppa and Hyunseong oppa home?" I asked him

"Ani, they're out right now but they'll be back," he set his sister down and she continued to eat the food I bought her separately,

"So how did you find her?" he said,

"More like they found me" I sat down on one of the table chairs

"They?" he raised a brow, I shook my head

"Your umma and her came to my signing event and when I was signing the autograph I looked up and she was leaving out the door, Ilayda was infront of me and she said she didn't want to be with her anymore" I could see his expression turn angry, he turned to Ilayda,

"Is that true?" he asked her, the little girl looked down,

"Ne, she said Jaeseul Unnie would take care of me, she didn't tell me I would see my oppa again" his face lightened up a bit.

"This is the note she also gave me too, or gave to Ilayda to give to me" I handed him the envelope from my purse and he read it,

He shook his head, "I cant believe it," he scoffed "I knew she was a terrible person," him talking about his mom made me a little angry, I got up and pulled him to the side,

"Your umma, was an alcoholic, she knew she wasn't able to take care of her anymore and instead she turned her over to me to return to you, she isn't that bad of a person, shes just sick" I defended, he gave me a look,

"Why are you defending her? She abandoned us" his voice was cold and he was glaring at me.

"You abandoned her Jeongmin, you decided to stay here" I said

"Jaeseul, Stop. I'm not arguing" he said

I shrugged "Arraso, I didn't say you had to argue with me I was just telling you the truth" he rolled his eyes at me

"Yeah whatever is that it then?" he was already trying to get rid of me.

"Ani, is she staying with you?" I asked him

"Duh why wouldn't she?" he said

"Well for one your apartment isn't child proof," I told him

"So what are you suggesting? She stay with you? She's my sister" he said obviously annoyed

"I know but for now I think its best if you let her stay with me" I said he scoffed at me

"Who do you think you ar-" he was cut off

"Oppa why is it taking you so lon-" jenny said walking out of their hallway but stopped when she saw me,

"Oh, Anneyeong Jaeseul," she said I just gave an awkward smile and nodded,

He walked over to her, "Mianhae, something came up, Jenny this is my sister" I watched as the little girl jumped out of her chair and ran over to me

"She's a little shy, " he said trying to pull her from behind me, she pulled back

"Ani! JaeSeul unnie can we go back to your house?" she asked me, I looked to jeongmin, he sighed and nodded at me

"Ne," I got down to her eye level,

"But first I need you to say Hi to Jenny, shes your oppas friend" I said,

"girlfriend" jenny corrected I rolled my eyes at her,

"Jebal?" I told Ilayda, she slowly nodded

"Anneyeong Jenny" she said

"call me unnie" jenny said,

"Aniyo, Jaeseul is my unnie," I tried to hold in my laughter, I don't think Ilayda likes her so much,

"Arraso, well we'll be on our way, tell oppas I said hi," I said as I led Ilayda out, jeongmin walked over to the door,

"Bye Ilayda" he said giving her a hug

"Bye oppa" she said letting go of him

"I will go pick you up tomorrow so we can do something arraso?" he told her she just nodded, whats he gonna pick her up in? his motorcycle? I'm pretty sure kids aren't supposed to get on that

He stood back up and faced me, he looked like he wanted to thank me, but he also looked like he wanted to yell at me, he let out a big sigh,

"Kamsahamnida Jaeseul, Please take care of her" he said his eyes pleading

"Ne, Anneyeong Jeongmin" I said reaching out for Ilayda to hold my hand she did and we walked slowly down his apartment stairs, she waved bye to him and we left, I hate to feel like he hates me now, I really wish Jenny never had came back, why couldn't she study abroad for another 10 years or the rest of her life, I have to stop being so bitter,

The drive back was quiet, she was behaved for her age

"Jaeseul?" she said as we walked out of the car

"Ne?"

"How come you aren't with my oppa? Don't you like him?" she asked me I was shocked at her question, how could she have known that?

"Bwoh? Your oppa and me are friends," I said opening the door to the house as we walked in, Jaesun wasn't home

"Don't be a liar unnie! I saw how you got very mad when Jenny came in the room" she said in a matter a fact tone, huh, smart girl.

"Ani, me and Jenny just don't get along that well is all,"

"Ooo, do you like Minhyun?" she asked, oh boy, she's dependent on my show now

"Aniyo, we are just acting when we are on the show" I said she giggled as we both sat on my bed and watched tv together, this was a good feeling,
