It had been a few days since Seokjin had collapsed.2 days and 11 hours to be precise.
It's not like Jungkook was counting or anything.
Ever since then, Seokjin hadn't been left alone once. The boys had attached themselves to their hyung by the hip. They made sure their stubborn hyung was resting properly and made it so that Seokjin didn't even have to lift a finger. Seokjin had mostly been too tired to argue so just accepted everything happily.
Seokjin was given as much time as he needed to fully recover. The other members however, had to go back to practice. They had tried to get out of it claiming that their hyung needed to be cared for, but management had argued back, saying that Seokjin was an adult and can easily take care of himself.
That's how Seokjin found himself sitting alone on the sofa in the middle of the empty dorm. He really wanted to be productive but Yoongi had threatened to throw out his RJ plushie if he were to do anything but rest.
Seokjin just couldn't handle doing nothing. Being an idol meant that Seokjin was used to being on his feet everyday for hours on end. He honestly just felt useless, having nothing to do.
He thought to the boys who were currently slaving away over at the dance studios. They had been dancing tirelessly for 5 hours now while all Seokjin had managed to do was make his way over to the fridge and reheat leftovers for lunch.
Seokjin already had to take extra dance lessons to make sure he stayed on the same page as the other boys, now he was missing them entirely. He felt unproductive and hated it.
So that's how Seokjin found himself situated in the living room, connecting his phone to the huge speakers in their living room. He knew he wasn't supposed to be doing this, and that he should be resting, but he just couldn't stand sitting around anymore!
He began to dance to the songs they were currently practicing, trying to perfect them all with little to no breaks. Now that he looks back at it, that may have not have been the best idea.
After dancing through a particularly challenging song, Seokjin's knees gave out as soon as it was over. He lay, gasping on the floor, willing for oxygen to fill his restricted airways. He had flashbacks to the concert, where this exact problem had happened, and that one didn't end well at all.
He was so focused on trying to grasp his breath and not pass out that he failed to hear the front door open.

He knew we shouldn't have trusted his hyung alone.
That was Taehyung's first thought when he opened the door to a visibly sweaty and exhausted Seokjin fighting for breath on the floor.
Taehyung had come back from practice early to get ready for his solo vocal practice. He was expecting to walk in, get ready, hug and fuss over his sleepy hyung and then leave. Never once had crossed his mind that he would open the door to his stubborn hyung trying, and failing, to practice.
"Hyung! Are you stupid?! Why would you try and practice?" Taehyung shouted over the loud music still blaring through the speakers. He rushed over to his struggling hyung, pulling him into a sitting position allowing Seokjin to breathe better.
Seokjin sat there for a bit trying to catch his breath before replying.
"Y-yah! Don't disrespect m-me" Seokjin gasped out. Unfortunately speaking only made things worse as it triggered Seokjin's cough. When he was finished coughing, he slowly lowered his hand to reveal his palm that was painted with flecks of blood.
