You coming to the game tonight?

I unlocked my phone to read the text from Sebastian.

You have a game?

Yes, ms.malik. or have you forgotten already that your favourite boy plays for the hockey team?

what makes you think you're my favourite boy?

your blushing cheeks during our kisses are a hint

Cue the said blushing cheeks now. Damn him.

that doesn't mean you're my favourite boy

then who is?

harry styles has my heart forever

I bit my lip as I tried to hold back my grin. Never mind that I was currently supposed to be working on my creative writing assignment right now but instead I was glued to my phone.

damn, i can't even compete with the guy

maybe on the ice you can

so you'll come?

yes

He sent a bunch of smiley face emojis after that. Yup, there was no holding back the grin now.

"Whatcha doin'?" I quickly locked my phone and glanced up to see Alisha walking into the kitchen in her pjs and some of last night's makeup still on her face.

"Just trying to work on this assignment."

"Ugh, I'm starting to hate the word assignment."

"Me too. Although, I think I hate the actual thing more than the word." She took a seat on the chair next to me and laid her head on my shoulder.

"Do you have plans for tonight?" She mumbled, stealing an apple from my plate of snacks.

"I'm going to the hockey game tonight." I said, trying to keep my voice neutral.

"Ooh, going to watch your lover boy again?" She teased, lifting her head to throw me a smirk.

I didn't respond but gave her a nonchalant shrug.

"Wait, really?"

"There's nothing wrong with going to support our school's talented hockey team."

"Talented in what way, huh?" I laughed as she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.

"In all the ways that count." I teased under my breath, hoping she didn't catch that as soon as the words left my mouth.

She definitely did as her eyes widened and she choked on a piece of apple. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at her look of surprise.

"What's so funny?" Sarah asked, walking into the kitchen then. It was only noon but she looked ready and dressed for the day in skinny blue jeans and a baby pink off the shoulder sweater.

"Aria's going to the game to watch her boyfriend tonight." Alisha sang as she was finally able to speak.

Sarah had a similar look of surprised excitement as she walked over to us.

"Really?"

"He's not my boyfriend."

"But he could be. Very soon."

"Did he ask you to come? What happened last night? Are you guys dating?" Sarah bombarded me with her questions.

"Wait, last night?! What happened last night?!" Alisha asked loudly.
