Everything starts with a little crush

"Are you sure you're okay to drive home? It's raining really hard."
The pounding of the rain had gotten louder as Sebastian pulled into a parking spot in front of the entrance of my apartment building.
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
I looked out the window and then back at him skeptically.
Even with the windshield wipers on the fastest option, the scene outside remained blurry as the rain came down in buckets.
"You can stay over...if you want." I offered.
Sebastian looked over at me and smiled slightly. "Thank you, but I'll be okay driving home."
I didn't feel confident with the weather conditions to let him drive home and when a loud clap of thunder made me jump in my seat, I shook my head.
"Nope, no. You can't drive in this. You're staying over."
"Aria, it's fine. I don't live far."
Pulling my keys out of bag, I stayed rooted to my spot with a determined face.
"I'm not letting you drive home."
Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "You're not letting me?"
"Nope." I reached over to turn the key so the car would turn off. I pulled back with a triumphant smile and held the keys behind me.
"It's for your safety. Just stay for a bit until it calms down a bit."
Sebastian made to protest, but I was already climbing out of the car and made a dash towards the doors. I couldn't hear anything over the sound of the rain and rumblings of the thunder in the clouds. By the time I made it to the door, I could tell Sebastian had followed me by the splashes that sounded right behind me. After making sure his car was locked with his automatic key, we sloshed our way to the doors and grabbed the elevator to take us up. The cool air inside the hallways made goosebumps rise up on my skin and by the time I unlocked my front door, I was shivering in my damp clothes.
The sound of the tv was on in the living room and after stripped my wet, outer clothes, I wandered into the room to see Alisha fast asleep on the couch with a textbook on the floor next to her and leftover takeout containers on the coffee table.
"Hey." I softly shook her shoulder to wake her up.
She grumbled in her sleep and slowly blinked her eyes open.
"Why don't you go to bed?"
She groaned lowly but dragged herself up anyways. Trudging towards her room, she disappeared inside and I heard the soft thump as she fell into bed.
"I'll grab you a towel." I said to Sebastian. I quickly changed out of my clothes into a comfortable t-shirt and a loose pair of pyjama bottoms.
I grabbed two large towels and went back out to bring one to Sebastian. He had taken his hoodie off and was running his hands through his wet hair.
"Here." He thanked me for the towel and dried his hair quickly.
"Did you want to change your shirt? I think I have one of my brother's t-shirts in my closet."
He shook his head. "My t-shirt didn't get wet, it's fine. Thank you."
Using the second towel to run it through my own hair, I grabbed both towels and put them in the laundry basket.
