Ryder
"Come on, we need to get you to the pack doctor."
" I don't need a doctor. I'm fine. "
"I literally heard your rib break, we are going to the doctor." Caden said seriously. I only rolled my eyes, but followed him anyway. I don't feel like getting in anymore trouble, and my rib was hurting.
After what felt like walking forever through the halls, we finally made it to the 'hospital ' section.
Everything was clean and white and sterile in the room, and an old lady was sitting at a wood desk by the wall. She seemed in deep concentration, studying some papers. She had aged beautifully, you could tell she was gorgeous before the years finally caught up.
Her silver- grey hair was tied into a loose ponytail behind her, smile lines and wrinkles barely kissed her otherwise flawless skin. Her eyes were a piercing blue, and they were flicking over the pages of whatever she was reading quickly.
Caden coughed lightly, and the old woman jerked up, surprised.
"Oh! I am so sorry, I didn't see you there. Please, come over. By the looks of it, neither of you are fatally injured. Oh, I don't recognize you. Who are you?" The woman said quickly, and Ryder blinked. She was polite, but obviously a talker.
"I'm Ryder, ma'am. Just a broken rib, from your amazing alpha. "
I said, smiling politely, but sarcasm practically dripping from my words.
"Ah, I see. What pack are you from? You don't smell like any pack from around here. "
"I'm not in a pack, ma'am." I said tightly. For some reason, I didn't want her to know I was rogue. She was nice, I liked her.
" I-oh. I see. " she said quickly. Her smile faltered, and her vision went blank for a second. Cadens did as well, so I assume she had used the pack link to ask him about me.
Her eyes focused again, and she smiled tightly at me.
"Ver well, then. Let's get you checked out. You said broken rib?"
"Yes, ma'am. "
"Please, call me Mrs. Baron." Mrs. Baron said, her nice smile back on.
I nodded, and walked over to the viewing table.
"Shirt off, please." Oh. She is going to see all my scars. Great. I only nodded tightly, glancing over at Caden. His eyes were dark with an emotion I couldn't decipher.
He watched me as a pulled off my shirt, me feeling very self conscious from all the attention. Mrs. Baron snapped on some blue latex gloves, and walked over.
I looked down, and it was very obvious I had a broken rib. It was green and black were the alpha has kicked me, and it was swollen.
I looked up at Caden nervously, because now he had a glint of anger in his eyes. I felt his eyes all over my body, and it was making me very uncomfortable.
Glancing down again, I realized just how prominent the scars on my torso were. Countless dark lines littered my torso, some small, only about half an inch. One was huge, all the way one waist to the other, where another rogue has used a knife to slash through me. I shuddered at the memory, and panicked for a second when I felt warm hands on my bruised skin. I basically yelped, flinching away from her. I shuddered, and tried to bring my breathing back to a healthy rate. When I looked over, I felt two pairs of concerned eyes watch me closely. I blushed, and grumbled an 'I'm fine.' To them. Cadens eyes never left me, but Mrs. Baron went back to her work.I walked out silently after thanking Mrs. Baron. Looking down at the ground to ignore the questioning stares coming from Caden, I started walking down the hall.
I heard Caden walk after me,quietly, and i sighed. I didn't know how to get back to the bedroom.
"I want to sleep." Was all I said, still staring at the ground.
" only if you do something for me first. " was his dark response. I looked up at him with my eyes wide, but he looked calm and cold.
"Come." He said, and started making his way through the hall. I
hesitantly followed after him, nervous.
We stepped outside, and he continued walking, towards the woods. Now I'm really getting nervous. Finally after about 15 minutes of walking through the forest, he stopped in a clearing. I looked around nervously. What was he going to do?
"Shift." I heard him growl, and I narrowed my eyes.
" No. "
"I said, shift." He growled again, using his alpha voice.
" You aren't my alpha. " I hissed, fighting the urge to shift right then and there and cower into the ground.
He stared at me for a second, no emotion in his face.
"Why won't you shift?"
" because my wolf is weak, and submissive. I am strong, I don't need my wolf to burn down packs. " I said angrily. He was starting to get on my nerves. I don't submit to anybody. But for some reason, I wanted to shift. I wanted to make him happy, let him see a side of me that I didn't like.
"Shift." He growled, sending pheromones towards me waves, overwhelming me. I flinched at the voice, and fought my hardest to not submit.
I lost.
I bared my teeth, and started pulling off my shirt. He watched me the whole time, still sending pheromones towards me.
I glared at him heavily as I pulled off my pants, then my boxers. He glared straight back, but his eyes were dark with something else as well...
Finally, I stood, fully naked, in front of him. All my scars and bruises and imperfections on display, for his hungry eyes to see.
I closed my eyes, focusing on my wolf. It practically sang with joy, I hadn't let it out in over 2 years.
I started shifting, red and black fur sprouting over me, my bones cracking and rearranging themselves to shape into a wolves body.
Once I stopped shifting, I looked up at him, baring my teeth and feeling my eyes glow.
He didn't say anything, but instead of being angry, he looked... Amazed. Walking over, I growled at him again.
"Y-youre... Beautiful..." He whispered, and ran his fingers over my fur . I shivered at the pleasant feeling, and if I was human, I would have blushed.
He pulled away his fingers from my soft fur, and stepped back. Then, he started stripping. My wolf wanted to howl and gawk at him, and it had every reason too.
Caden was very muscular, but not overly muscular. He had a few tattoos, and tan skin. His body was amazing, he had no blemish. A few scars here and there, but otherwise He was flawless.
He shifted, and a beautiful golden wolf looked at me. My breathing hitched, he was gorgeous.
He was huge compared to my small size, almost twice my height and weight. His golden eyes looked at me, and I swear he almost smiled. The glowing in my eyes stopped, and I looked down. My wolf form was so weak, it was an embarrassment.
I shifted back, and quickly snatched my clothes. He shifted back as well, pulling his clothes on. We walked back towards the pack house in silence, but it wasn't ackward. It actually was comfortable.
We walked all the way back to his room, where I immediately crashed.A/n- well. *smacks lips* that was interesting. Also, when I woke up this morning, I realized over 40 people have read this book. Do you all actually like this?! Like, what?! I wasn't expecting people to actually read this, this was more of just a "wrote down my ideas, then grow on it" sorta thing.
And yes, I know. Some bxb books have way over a million views, but for little introverted me, over 40 is a LOT.
Thank you all so much, I hope you enjoy this book!
Next chapter will be Caden 😉
