"What seems to be all the commotion?"

Doflamingo stood at the doors entrance way, the lighting from the indoors casted on him in a way of making him look more intimidating than he normally was. He gazed around, taking in the scene in front of him, recognizing the straw hat boy from two years ago, and not knowing who the long nose cowering behind him was. Probably one of his crewmen. He concluded.

His eyes moved around more, and what they landed on caused him to pause. A nasty feeling washing all throughout his body, especially when he felt a pang in his chest. Irritation? Jealousy? Doffy hated every single second of this.

He was staring at your tiny hands cupping some blondes face, with him a blushing, nose bleeding mess. Your face was close to his, bodies almost touching. Why were you so damn close to him? And willingly? Seeing you touch another man, that wasn't him or his family, caused a stronger wave of these feelings to flow through his entire body. Another pang. He pushed the feeling down, as he strictly gazed down at your form.

"(Y/n)." The pink coated man growled out.

You flinched at the tone of voice he held and turned your head to see his towering form giving you a stern look.

"Where were you and why didn't you tell me you were going out?"

You looked at him with a perplexed and vexed face, "..Why do I need to tell you where I'm going all the time? I know I normally tell you, but I wanted alone time today." Your hands slowly retracted from the blondes face as they slowly came back to your sides.

"Alone time" my ass. You were with people all day today.

Usopp screeched at the powerful man and hid himself further behind his captain, who in return glared at the tall guy. "Oi, Mingo! Don't talk to
(Y/n) like that, she doesn't have to answer to you!" The short male glared at the man with glasses, not liking how he was speaking to you. Who did this thick-necked bastard think he was, talking to his new friend like that?!

"Yea, don't speak to (Y/n)-Chwan as if you own her! I'll be damned if I let you lay a hand on her." Sanji was at your side, ready to defend you if things got ugly.

Ignoring the two's threats, the tall man and you had a stare down.

Why do you have to be so difficult sometimes?

Doflamingo sighed at your stubbornness. "You're coming with me, let's go." He turned around to walk back into the castle, knowing you'd follow him.

You tensed at his words and slowly nodded (though he couldn't see you), knowing there wasn't anything else you could do. Turning to Luffy you pat him on the head, "Luffy, it's fine, don't attack him. I'll see you some other day, okay?" You gave a watery smile and placed a motherly kiss on his forehead.

He immediately eased up at your words and nodded. "Okay. If he ever hurts you, let me know and I'll come and beat his ass!" He looked at you with unwavering determination in his eyes.

Luffy really was the most loyal person, wasn't he?..

Usopp screeched (again) at his blunt proclamation, proceeding to hit Luffy non-stop while yelling at him, along with muttering a few apologies here and there to your older friend.
