Today was the day. The day you would forever be tied down to the love of your life. Promised to love and protect one another in sickness and in health.
To say you were nervous would be an understatement. In fact, you were practically shaking in your heels that you were currently practicing to walk in. Dellinger was beside you, holding your arm in case you decided to trip over nothing just like the past few times while instructing you how to walk properly in the death traps.
"No, (Y/n)! Stop swinging your hands around like a gorilla, keep your back straight, head up," Dellinger's manicured hands forced you to follow each correction when you did it incorrectly before making you do a test-run again.
"Delli I can't fucking WALK—" The nonexistent tripwire that you think was most certainly there cut you off from your rant, causing you to tumble to the ground ungracefully. The blonde boy that held your arm, unfortunately, wasn't there to save you.
It was "for practice", he called it.
Dellinger's lips curled downwards into a sneer with an exhausted sigh and shake of his head. When he agreed to train you on walking in heels last week, he truly didn't know what he was getting himself into. Not only were you still terrible at it, but there hasn't been much progress other than the fact you can stand still in them rather than stumbling about. God, you were so fucked.
"Ow..." you groaned, getting back up with the help of one of Doflamingo's many groomsmen.
"This isn't gonna be good, is it?"
≪ °✾° ≫
After the practice session with the blonde boy, your feet ached.
Everyone around the castle was in hysterics. Baker's and cook's worked themselves to death, preparing a large amount of food in advance for the number of people that were to be attending the wedding. (And your botomless pit of a stomach)
Maids and butlers alike would prepare the beautiful venue. With clothed tables, assigned seating, drastic yet gorgeous decorations, they certainly had their hands full.
Not only did they have much on their plate, but you and your many bridesmaids had to get your faces, hair, and nails done. In all honesty, you just wanted a small wedding with the family members. Not with the whole town watching, able to detect who you are. But, if it's what Doflamingo wanted, then you'd go along with it.
It wasn't because he said so, but because his reasoning was kinda cute in its own way. He said it was so nobody could try to mess with you, and others would know to back off or else they'd get slashed.
Very cute!
Gobbling down a doughnut that was sitting atop a rushing cart guided by a butler, you ignored the lecture that you received for eating in your white dress from Baby5, your maid of honor.
She gracefully wore a soft pale pink dress that flowed down with each movement, matching the bridesmaid dresses. The housemaids that followed behind held onto the long train, not letting it touch the ground till the actual wedding began.
"If a bitch is hungry let the bitch eat!" You managed to say with your mouth full.
The dress you wore was, as said, very long, with lacey flowers decorating the dress. It was off the shoulders, exposing your collarbone area to show off the signature skull necklace you refused to part with. Your hair was done up beautifully, with shiny dangling earrings able to reveal themselves better.
If you had to rate it one out of ten, it'd be a solid three.
Only because it was white, as it is unable to hide the food stains that will most definitely decorate it once you pig out.
