Part I : The girl's POV

The mysterious aura around you

Is what draws me to you,

Like a moth,

To a burning flame.

I know its going to hurt-

You and me both.

But now I've reached a stage-

Where I no longer care of being hurt.

I can see the pain-

Behind the cold facade of yours

I get a glimpse of your emotion-

Every once in a while.

I want to break the thick shell-

That you've created,

To which you retreat

Every time you sense danger.

I want to show you-

That its alright

To trust someone,

And that everybody isn't the same.

All I ask of you is to just give me a chance...

Note: Incase you are wondering why I've written 'Part I' at the beginning, it is because I thought of writing the poem in three parts. So the poem doesn't end here. It's continuation will be updated next.
