                                              Part II: Boy's POV
                          To the world- I'm cold and indifferent

                          A cruel man, with no emotions.

                          I can't let her break my facade-

                          Not after I have expertly built it.
                          I love her- I do!

                          So much, that it hurts.

                          I want to pull her to me

                          And never let her go.
                          But there is nothing left in me,

                          My soul- filled with darkness,

                          Bruised and scarred-

                          For eternity.
                          Destruction- is what her fate will be,

                          If she gets too close to me

                          I'm the hole that consumes all,

                          Her light being one, will also fade.
                          Pushing her away is all I can do

                          Though its killing me when doing so.

                          For the pain I feel- I have no care

                          Her happiness and safety- matters more.
                          I love her more than anything- I do!

                          But keep her away is what I've got to do...
