(A/N: Since I can't just show you all Phineas' reaction right at the beginning, Isabella goes first. Still, she's pretty important.)

ISABELLA'S POV

I shivered at the sudden thought. What if  the voice was right? What if I still had feelings....for Phineas?

I'm sure I don't anymore. Or at least, I was. Now, I don't think I am. I'm not sure of anything!

I watched as Phineas recovered from the kiss, and as Lia smiled at him and ran away. I watched as he searched everywhere for something, and as he realized that it was gone. It was probably the paper. Wait a second. If someone got their hands on that paper, then they'll think I still liked Phineas!

Oh my gosh, I'm so in trouble! I need that paper safe.

I blew three times on my whistle, and the Fireside Girls assembled. Strangely, Lia wasn't there.

"Code Red! Someone got their hands on the paper!"

I screamed.

PHINEAS' POV

My lips tingled from the kiss. Did I actually like it? Still, I needed to find that paper. Who could have stolen it? It was just there, I saw it! It was gone after--oh, no! How could I have been so blind! That girl who kissed me got it! She had a Fireside Girls uniform on, so I should ask Isabella.

When I found her, she was sitting on a bench, waiting.

"Whatchadooin?" Isabella sighed. She looked tired when she said it.

"I was gonna ask you a question." I said. "Do you know who stole the paper?"

"The Fireside Girls and I searched for it awhile ago, but, nothing!"

Then, she motioned the other Fireside Girls to come.

I then remembered that the one who kissed me was also a Fireside Girl. "Where's the one that kissed me?"

"Who? Lia? We couldn't find her too."

"There. Lia. That's her name. She stole the paper!" I said.

ISABELLA'S POV

After the conversation with Phineas, I  ordered the Fireside Girls to search again, but all of us were too tired. We rested, and still we couldn't regain our strength. I didn't know what to do.
Maybe I should call Buford. I thought. I couldn't think of another solution, so I did. As usual, he came quickly.

"Hey there, Izzy." Buford said.

He and I were best friends since high school, so I knew I could always count on him. He wasn't a bully anymore at that time. He's actually one of the kindest people I know now. We were friends ever since Baljeet graduated (Baljeet graduated early, no surprise, and he's now a math teacher at an advanced college).

"Hi, Ford." I replied. I told him about Lia and the piece of paper, but I didn't tell him what was in the paper.

"Who is your crush, anyway?" Buford asked, and, wait, was he blushing?

"If you get the paper, maybe, just maybe, you'll find out."

I replied, forgetting to tell him that I didn't like Phineas anymore.

(A/N: Next few chapters will have Lia and Buford POVs for character development + more!)
