"Lunch time~" Kiba yelled, stretching his arms next to you. "Honestly- i don't know why you like to read so much" he snatched your book from your hands.

"Kiba give it back" Neji said from the desk behind, done with Kiba's bs, as you reached out for the book.

"Let's go to lunchhh!! Science has me beat!" Kiba whined tossing the book, you barely catching it.

"I don't know why you're complaining if I'm the one doing all the work" you let out.

"I know~ but seeing you work so hard makes me exhausted too~" he smirked.

Kiba was your lab partner unfortunately. And science was your fourth hour, and your fifth hour was lunch. So you always got stuck walking to lunch with the same small group, Kiba, Neji, Hinata, Tenten, and Shikamaru.

Neji and Shikamaru are lab partners, and Hinata and Tenten are too.

You stared at him, eyeing his every move as he just smirked at you.

"lazy" was all you said as you jumped off of your chair and walked towards Neji and Shikamaru's table. "Let's go" You said to them.

"Uh- how?!" Kiba yelled as everyone got out of their seats and made their way to the door, "w-wait up!" He scrambled to catch up.

"What a drag. The teacher is giving us a new project" Shikamaru let out, putting his hands on the back of his neck.

"Yeah. I already know Kiba isn't going to do shit," you said as you walked between Neji and Shika.

"O-oi! You don't know that!" Kiba let out.

"Y/n!! There you are! Let's go find a good table!" You looked ahead of you to see Naruto running in your direction.

"We always sit together Naruto, why are you making such a scene" Shikamaru sighed.

Naruto sulked, you let out a laugh, and walked together to the cafeteria. "Where's Sakura?" You asked, taking a seat in between Naruto and Neji.

"She stayed after class. Something about a question on the homework" he explained. You muttered an "oh ok"

"Let's go buy lunch" Naruto suggested, you agreed, making your way to stand up. Then a hand on your shoulder stoped you, you looked up to see Sasuke smiling down at you.

"Mind if I buy you lunch today?" He smiled.

"Yeah I mind" you answered in a bored tone. "But I'll let you, cause I don't think I brought enough money today."

"That's rough y/n. Using him for money" Kiba pointed out.

"Not really-" you muttered, standing up and walking away with Sasuke towards one of the food stands.

Konaha middle school was a bit different from your old school. In this school they had grades 7, 8, 9, and 10. So the school was giant. And the cafeteria was pretty big itself, allowing grades 9 and 10 to eat lunch at the same time, and grades 7 and 8 eat together at a different hour.

You thought the way they made the schedule and the whole grades being together was stupid. But nothing you could do about it.

There was also food stands where you could buy different types of food.

One stand was a salad stand. The others tacos, burgers, burritos, ramen, and the list went on.

There was also lunch provided by the school, but almost no one ate the school made food.

"What do you want to eat today?" Sasuke asked with a smile.

"Um... I don't know. A salad maybe?" You were unsure.
