"Where Chris at?" Demitrius asks as he adjusts his phone, even though I spoke to him earlier, we decided to get on facetime for the second time today. He was really starting to become my best friend and I was stoked about it honestly, we talk damn near everyday actually.
"You sure ask about him a lot, you want me to put you on?" I tease. He looks at me with a blank stare on his face making me laugh.

"Whaaat? Oh don't do that, y'all would be cute actually." I giggle and he mugs me.
"One, Chris don't swing that way and neither do I." He mutters, closing his laptop and notebook.
"How bold of you to assume. You finished your work?"
"Yea, didn't have much to do today. I wanna go to your house but August isn't here. My car is in the shop and Auntie car ain't here either."
"Umm, I can come pick you up, give me like twenty minutes to put on some actual clothes." I say.
The end of October was here and we were feeling it, it's been freezing cold all week, I literally had to dig up all my sweaters and coats because of it.
"Bet. Text me when you outside."
"Will do."
I hang up the phone and rush to put on some jeans, a thick black sweater and my black Ugg boots. I apply some gloss then grab my keys and phone after I grab my north face.
"Bubba! I'll be back!" I yell and he rushes downstairs.
"Where you goin'?" He asks.
"Picking up Demitri."
"Ight, I'm comin' with you." He mumbles going to turn around and I scoff.
"I'm not going in the house, he isn't even there Sincere." I say hinting at August. He stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at me.
Since the day August came over, they've been on my back about where I've been going. I forgave him of course but I still haven't held a conversation with him, they made sure of that. Chris lightened up, especially because of what happened to August but Sincere didn't care about it. He was barely talking to him, he said when I forgive him then he will, I know it's a lie though. For some reason it affected Sincere like it did me, except with him it was anger obviously.
